I know how that is but got too many bills so Christmas shopping early is even sometimes impossible. Luckily my kids get their Christmas presents frrom my brother and sister in law who have custody of them I usually send them gift cards after Christmas when everything is on sale, this time going to see my parents after Christmas and will take something there so when kids come see them Spring Break the gifts will be waiting. Think they will like that. At least won't just get gift cards this time. emoticon

Almost an entire month later, I am here! My goals set that day never did come to be reached.
So maybe I , no I AM, setting one small goal for this weekend: Exercise will be done! I just haven't been fitting in any exercise other than at my Adult Day Health Center, which changes, NOW!!! I will exercise tomorrow with a walk and walk to church on Sunday!

For those in the Know-DBT rocks!!! Mindfullness will be happening as second nature before you know it!

Great ideas everyone!

I did horrible last week. Ugh!

This week my non-fitness goal is to read for at least 15 minutes each day. I just started DBT therapy and picked up a skills workbook for it that I need to delve into.

Hopefully this week is better than last!

How did everyone do last week? What is your goal for this week? Do you have a plan in place to help you accomplish it?

I did alright with my goal of reading one SP article each day. I learned some interesting things about exercising.

My goal for this week is to practice mindfulness at least twice each day. I just started DBT therapy last week and Mindfulness is the first component. I'm excited to see how this goes! I have the time to make this happen but learning a new skill is going to be challenging.

And I'm so glad to see more of you jumping on board!

I am actually going to set this next weeks goals today: I need to spend time studying His Word each day, to be the first!
Fruit for desserts and with snacks each day can and will need to be the 2nd..
Exercise beyond the exercise that I get at Day Health needs and MUST be 3rd!! I've been put on Blood Pressure medication and must do this to help it do its job.. Meds alone can't make me healthier...

emoticon everyone on doing so well with your goals. I need to make one of my goals to check in more often. emoticon

The goals I made for the last time I checked in were to do daily devotions and to work on decluttering my table. Well have done no devotions as of yet. I make about every excuse in the book, promise to do better and then forget all about them. OOPS. However, I have done quite a bit with my table. A lot of the mail is gone, shredded and thrown out.

My goals were not clearly made for this week as I didn't feel very well some of the days. My goal for today was to do some of my dishes and I did manage to do that.

I will be thinking on goals for next week.

My goal for the week was to eat only real foods. The fries I ate today, were not, as they were fried. Is it really so hard to finish a thought and eat healthy?! Maintain it?...
