I just finished Miss Benson's Beetle by Rachel Joyce and started The Lazy Genius Way by Kendra Adachi on my kindle. Not sure what I'll read at bedtime yet. I just got a new stack of books from the library. I'm also listening to A Woman of Words by Angela Hunt.

I just started Hot to Trot by MC Beaton. Also, I just found out that the author had passed away in 2019 and this is her last book, written with the help of a friend/writer. It will be interesting to see if the series continues with the help of this other writer, or if it is the end of the adventures with Agatha Raisin (the lead character).

I read the series with The Selection A couple years ago. It was pretty good.

I finished The Kings of Clonmel, now I’m going to try finishing The Treasure of Khan by Clive Cussler.

I just finished a book that my DS13 shared with me that he read in school, called A Night Divided about when the Berlin wall went up overnight and separated a family. It was so good!

I am also listening to The Shepherd's Wife by Angela Hunt. Another great Biblical fiction selection.

I loved the Artemis Fowl books!!!!

I’m almost done with The King of Clonmel in the Ranger’s Apprentice series. I have a few other books that I am more than halfway through that I need to finish. I will add them as I get back to them.

I love this thread idea! I say we keep it up even after May. I'm always looking for good books to check out. Thanks Joyce!

That sounds interesting, Ravyna.

I love to read! Right now, I'm listening to 'Fowl Twins: Deny All Charges' by Eoin Colfer. It is the second in a series that follows another series called 'Artemis fowl' about a young mastermind who has adventures with the Faerie world, based in Ireland. The Twin series is his little brothers and their adventures. Soooo funny! It's in the juvenile fiction section and the kids all loved the series too.

I am also reading 'A Dance in Donegal' by Jennifer Deibel. It was on the new shelf at the library and looked good. I just started it last night. It's based in a small village in 1920's Ireland. I seem to be on an Ireland kick.....

Currently I am reading A Mothers Love by Charlotte Hubbard. It is about a young Amish woman named Rose who has a young daughter, about 3 years old, whose husband and father are dead. The book begins with Roses mother revealing that Rose was adopted at birth from a woman who was not married at her birth. Roses mother asks her not to seek out her birth mother and then she dies. Rose is now tasked with being in charge of her mothers funeral, the care of her daughter and confusion about what to do with this new information.

I don't think we have talked about what we are reading, when we read...?

I read a lot as a middle school and high school kid. This was my escape from my loneliness in boarding school. Since I have been an adult and happier with my life, I read less.
I like a Reader's Digest with short stories and easy to hold in one hand during blood donations which I do every month.
