I only normally go out once a week to get my groceries and do anything I need to do that day. I don't generally go out socializing, so my life won't be impacted anywhere near as much as perhaps most peoples' IF I remain well, and my family also remain well in their homes. I have enough of everything except fresh fruit/veggies to last 3 months (had a tally-up today), but I haven't rushed out to stock up - it is my normal stock I've always kept for emergencies.
Having said that, I have to go out tomorrow - My poor little 19 1/2yr old cat has been quite ill after having had a couple strokes and having renal issues as well as a growth on her kidney. It is getting to be a big effort for her to do anything much, so I have made an appointment with her vet. I am very sorry it has come to this because she is a really dear little thing. It is also the day before the anniversary of my beautiful little dog, (Scruffy) having to be euthanized for similar issues. I am meeting my daughter after for her to get some groceries and take them home for her, and also we are going to have lunch together - something we have never done before unless as a family gathering.

Tuesday I have an appointment at the Medical Centre.

I was notified by the hospital today that my cataract surgery has had to be cancelled, to be rescheduled for when the strain is off the health system and the risks to me are much less.

This is from our main daily newspaper:

We have been very fortunate in that we haven't been fed incorrect information from our leader, or stupid comments such as "Herd Immunization" to fight it. We have also been very fortunate in that most of what our news outlets are putting in the media is backed by daily the Director-General of Health, the Health Minister and/or Prime Minister's Press Conferences stating what has happened re the virus and what they are doing to deal with it.

My son lives in Vancouver, BC. His Producer has a friend LA who has it, and he's described it as feeling like he has glass in his lungs.....! Most comments I've heard from people with it is that they were fine. The Producer's friend's comment highlights that it isn't as easy at that for everyone (not including those who have passed away because of it.) .

I've been staying home except for the grocery. I am going for walks and starting spring yard work. Biggest concern is the effect of all of this on the economy and people's finances.

Nothing. I'm doing absolutely nothing different.

I've always washed my hands frequently, and now is about the safest time to go out because no one's around to be exposed to!

So it's life as usual. I refuse to panic.

My life is not a lot different from usual. I am mostly home alone, reading, and being online. Tomorrow I'll be ordering groceries, but there may be a lot of things that the store doesn't have. Thank goodness I don't need toilet paper! emoticon

Walking the dogs, on lockdown so lots of housework and spring cleaning happening lol. We’ll have a really tidy and sparkly house and garage by the end of the predicted two week lockdown, as well as trimmer figures and healthier bodies.
On a plus note, we have summery weather today too....

What are you doing to deal with the Coronavirus now? Have you started isolating or practicing social distance?
I saw an aerial view of a beach in Florida where thousands of people were there and didn't seem worried about being around others.

My family is staying home as much as possible except to get groceries or take care of DH's mother. My daughter has to go to work as her job as a veterinary assistant cannot be done remotely. I realized watching the news all day wasn't helping me, so now am trying to do some productive and enjoyable things instead (while still keeping up with the news cast a couple of times a day).
