Just do the best you can for that situation....then take on the next one. Each healthy thought...once learned and put into practice then becomes a habit.

These days I feel like every day I'm starting over. It's so hard at this time of year to stay on track. I find it hard to track my food, to exercise... I hear what you're sayin'!

But the others are right - you can't get bogged down in frustration and self-reproach. Just keep moving, make healthy choices whenever possible and let the others go. Don't lose sight of your goals but accept that life happens. Hope you're feeling better and that your Spark perks up soon!

One thing that helps me is to set a short-term (manageable) goal, for example, a 3-day 'streak' of eating at the lower end of my calorie goals. Also, tracking averages before and after these little 'streaks' shows me that even 3 days can shift the overall trend for the week or the month, and get me closer to my goal. It's motivating. GOOD LUCK!!!!

Wow there are plenty of people on this site that are doing great at their weight loss. But their are people like me who are struggling to stay on track with exercise and eating right. I had been sick for the past week so I stopped exercising and eating right now it feels like I have gained a TON of weight. I am back on track this week but I am not exercising as hard as I could and I did eat wrong yesterday. Once again getting back on track today. Does anyone have any helpful hints for me. Thank You. emoticon
