Okay I know some will laugh, but Pokemon Go can be fun exercise. We have several gyms and Pokestops downtown so if I walk from one end to the other and around a few blocks I can hit the stops and get walking in. There are also quite a few in our park. Over in Stillwater there is a nice walking trail around Boomer Lake with Pokestops.

I enjoy walking. Doing things in the yard, gardening, mowing. emoticon emoticon

I don't do any one exercise on a regular basis. I used to walk 5 days a week. Then had knee problems, so I stopped, had surgery and now trying to find my routine again with a toddler at foot. He likes to play tag so we do that some days. But, it doesn't last long.
These ideas sound fun, I have to find something.

Color it up!

I line dance 2 1/2 hours on MWF and then that's a lot of fun. I go to the "Y" and walk on the tread mill for 30 min. on T TH and Sun.

I can do this!

I work fulltime in retail up on my feet all day. When i come home the last thing I want to do is be up on my feet excercizing. So I found something that works for me. I bought a recumbent stationary bike. I love putting on my head phones draping my kindle fire over the handle bars and streaming netflix while I ride. I try to stay between 14 and 12 mph. The head phones also blocks out the noise from my teenagers and makes me feel like Im getting some me time.

I checked out Jazzercise last weekend, too! Looks like fun! Waiting for next paycheck to sign up! Hi! I'm new and have around 100lbs more to lose. So hearing fun ideas about exercise is great. I got the first 50 lbs off on a treadmill, now I'm ready for something more exciting! We have a Wii Fit program. I love the tennis and swing like I'm really on the court! My husband and I will bowl if he feels like getting involved.

Good ideas everyone.

Golfing - I would get a lot of exercise even using the cart. I would be looking for the ball all of the time. lol

Walking with bothersome dogs in the neighborhood can be annoying. An older gentleman who walks in the neighborhood carried a water gun until the dogs learned they would get squirted. Someone else carried a really bad smelling spray... like skunk scent. They would squirt the dogs and the dogs would run off.

A house a few doors down never keeps their small yappie dog in the back yard... even though they have a fence. It is really annoying because we can't even go out front without it barking at us. It even stands in our drive and barks. My oldest was trying to work on his car and he started throwing paint balls at it. It wouldn't leave him alone so he started shooting the ground around it with the paint balls using his sling shot. It was actually funny because the little white dog had pink splatter on it from the paint balls. He never hit the dog though.

I really like to walk. We have a very nice walking trail, but I also change it up and walk in my neighborhood. I take the dog and we walk forever. We do have to watch because there are so many little yippy dogs that aren't leashed and chase us. I have a 65lb mongrel, but those ankle biters are way worse. They take the fun out of our nightly routine.

I also really love to sweat to the oldies. I love music and my favorite are oldies. Richard Simmons is crazy, but i really enjoy it.

My husband just introduced me to golfing, I am so bad that we just laugh the whole time but on some of the smaller course you can go with out a golf cart. Even with one you can get a good work out if your not lazy.
I'm excited to check out netflix dances. I don't use my netflix to often, we share it so I try not to use it too much. But I think I need ot check it out.

Whatever I do I have to do at home. I do not drive anymore due to vision impairment and do not get out very easily. I have to have someone else pick me up to go anywhere.

Thanks for all the dancing suggestions, I will check themout. I saw a kick-boxing video on YouTube the other night. That looks like fun. It looked pretty good with about 7 people doing the same thing together and they were all in sync. I bookmarked that page so Ihope I can find it again.

Netflix has some belly dancing videos too for something different.

Would pushing the button over and over on a game at a casino count for exercise? A friend of mine says that is his favorite exercise. lol

AWELLS60- I really like the Dance Away the Inches: Cardio Blasting Party work-out. I mean, I know it is not for everyone, but it might be worth checking out.

AWells60 - Do you have a Wii or another gaming system like that? We have the games "Just Dance2" and "Just Dance3" plus a Zumba one. They are all fun, but I like the "Just Dance" games better plus I can get my kids to play. If you have a game system, you may try one of those for something different.

I walk almost every day, wish I could walk outside rather than inside. I also like to dance. I used to go dancing at a restaurant every Wednesday night with a bunch of singles, but haven't done that for a couple of years. More fun to have a partner.

What kind of exercise do you like to do and consider fun? Do you play sports? Have an active video game?

How often do you take part in your "fun" exercise?
