Team goals are too aggressive for me, I have arthritis in my toes, feet, knees, back and neck. I have an irreparable rotator cuff tear in my right shoulder. That means I can't run, lift weights, aerobics or walk for long distance. I have resigned myself to do small things like walk 2oo steps, sometimes making it 1,000. I do the best I can and try to make up for it with a good healthy eating plan, which seems to work so far. I've gone from 340lbs. to 307lbs. in a few months. Of course I seem to have hit a flat spot but feel I will start losing again if I persevere and not give up. I hope I don't let your aggressive high expectations get the best of me and give up. I would hate to leave the team because I am not living up to your expectations. I will try to hang in there and not let it get into my head. emoticon

I am back after a break I have been ill for past two weeks I was unable to do much But starting to rcover now and need a May challenge. It's a good month Its my birthday on 15th and wedding anniversary on 26th!
I did lose 3 lbs but have not been eating as normal due to being ill!
I am back to start on exercising but will be a low start with 15 mins a day for a week. I will do more if I can.Will report back next Mon. Irene in England. emoticon

One week gone on this challenge. I set myself a cautious low target and exceded it over the wheek.So am going to incraese my pledge to 240 mins a week for my 2nd week. I had a dreadful night of little sleep and had bout of IBS which I suffer from. This morning i felt fot for nothing. Then thought I have 2 choices. Either 1, sit around being sorry for myself. Or 2 I get on with what I had planned. I chose the later thinking of this challenge spurred me on. I didnt want to miss a day of my exercise programme, then have to make it up later So thanks challenge team. Keep going. Irene emoticon

regular work out 3x a week for an hour and then i take 2 spin classes a week which both are from 45- 50 min long.

I go to the gym three times a week and promise to get a half an hour more when I get home. The problem at home is to do cardio. So that is my promise. Maybe start staying at the gym a half an hour more. But the extra half hour more every other day will give you 150 more minutes.

I am glad this challenge started It is inspiring us all to have an aim and go for it.My main was maybe a bit low, I have exceeded it so far each day so will review it after a week.

I'm still waiting for someone to match or beat may challenge !! If i can do it at 396 lbs so can some of you :Lets beat the obesity disease : so you dont have to work to find it here it is again ... catch me if you can .

I've really dropped the ball on this, going from 315 a week to 0 over a years time. I'm working on getting back to where I need to be but am only at about 30 a week now. My goal is to be at a consistent 90 minutes a week by the end of May and then up that to 120 minutes a week by the end of June.

This my first time doing a myspace challenge, but I'm up for it. My goal is to do 250 minutes of cardio each week. It'll be easier for me to keeping track using our weekly cardio tally on spark. I also will and 3 days of strength training per week also. I'll come back to edit my entry each week.

I will pledge 600 minutes. I know its not much but working 4 jobs makes it hard to find time to workout. I do walk a lot during 3 of the jobs and get a good workout in then so the 600 minutes is on top of that. Best of luck to all!!

At the top of your page -when you log in and you are on your start page - you can click on My fitness. When you get to the my fitness page, scroll to the bottom and it should tell you your goal. There is a daily minutes goal and a daily calories burned goal. You should be able to get to that page if you have already set up a page for yourself! This will actually be the first challenge I've ever joined on here, so I'm excited!!

I'm gonna go with saying my goal is to get in 150 fitness minutes each week. Doing my walking / kick boxing DVDs each day and my new fun toy (Ab Circle Pro), I figure I shouldn't have too much trouble reaching that goal.

I do have one question though about keeping track of fitness minutes. How do you do that on here? I've seen under peoples names their sparkpoints and fitness minutes...but I have no clue how they keep track of the minutes on here! So anyone with info, that'd be great.

My current weight is 160 and I would like to be as close to 140 as possible. I'd be satisfied w/145.

Hi everyone! My goal is to get in 225 fitness minutes each week throughout the challenge. The majority of this will be done walking. I start a new job next week and hope to move to a new house by end of the month so it's going to be a busy busy time for me! ;)

I know it's been a while since we've done a team challenge... But there's no time better then now.

The challenge will start this week and go until June 30th.

What is the challenge you ask... It's to set a goal of how many fitness minutes you get a day/week/month. It's up to you how you want to set it up. The amount of minutes is also up to you. This challenge is one that is made for everyone.

You can post your goal here and also keep us all updated on how your doing. Since all of our life's are really busy you don't have to loin everyday or every week.
