With all these toys they now have for kids...even little ones don't get enough activity. We use to pedal a bike or ride a horse. Now, they have those battery powered cars etc. We use to get outside and PLAY, running all over with our friends...and now I can't get my older Grandson away from the electronic games without a fight. I usually win but oh, the looks I get. LOL

So far, Riddick and I have sat at the dining room table together for our two main meals of breakfast and lunch. emoticon

I don't think we got more then a dusting. The wind was the issue again more then anything.

I got up early and got 30 minutes in on my treadmill before my Grandson woke up. I was just finishing when I heard this little voice say....I help Nana? He thought it was so cool to hold my hand and walk on the treadmill. I stood on the floor beside him while he took his turn.

Chores all done this morning and sidewalk/driveway have been
shoveled. How much snow did you get?

Chores took longer because I did some things ahead
just in case we did have snow. Plus it was getting too
dark to walk safely on the icy patches. Better heads
prevailed but it wasn't as cold as I thought it would be.

My goal last week was to sit at a table for every meal. No eating on the run or with any distractions such as TV or telephone. This goal needs work as I did not do very well. There was no wiggle room as I had said EVERY day and EVERY meal. I set myself up for failure by doing this and that is how I feel even though I did improve my eating habits this week.

So, my goal this week is to eat my three main meals at the Dining Room table five days out of the seven. emoticon
