Ya, I think I've finally came to terms with this has to be a forever kind of lifestyle, and am realizing that it makes me feel a lot better and energized than eating a bunch of crap lol. Thanks for the encouragement and I'm happy to hear that you're doing well too! It really helps me to post, like I have to account for what I've done for the day, so if helps motivate you, it gives me more reason to keep going! Have an awesome day!

Yep, that's the way to do it (in my experience, at least!). I've never thought of this as a diet. It's a lifestyle change, which is what you're going for! I'm so stoked that you lost that weight. And it's only the beginning!

Thanks for posting, too. You and I are on the same day of this thing, and you keep me motivated. I don't want to fall behind you, lol!

So today is day 5 of the first week and I'm still feeling very motivated! I've done a lot of "diets" in the past, but this is first time that I've approached it this way. I'm not dieting this time, just limiting portions. Since I tend to overeat out of boredom, I've taken up some hobbies to keep my mind off of eating. We've also started eating healthier -- more proteins, less bad carbs, no sweets, etc. Day 5 and I've lost a little more than 4 pounds, which I'm just ecstatic about :) Today I did the Pilates thigh workout and while it was pretty challenging on my hips, I'm definitely keeping this one in mind for future workouts, because this is one area that is difficult for me to work out. I did stretches for a while after this video though, because I got a little bit of a cramp in my thigh from the bicycle part of the exercise and had to work it out. Excited to keep on track! Good luck to everyone else too!
