DAY 3 - omg, I am so proud of me, I fought this last 10 minutes but talked myself into it even thoug I feel like I'm coming down with something. But I did it, I got all 30 minutes of Cardio in today, thank goodness I didn't need to do the Strength today cause I looked at the video and even attempted to do it but gave in, it was just too much for me so tomorrow when I do need to do Strength I will look for a very easy one to do for my 10 minutes. It's the best I can do and I'm thrilled I'm even doing it at all, so maybe WEEK 2 will be a bit easier for me to do, if not I'll do the best I can either way !!!

With that said all that's left is .... good night all .... zzzzzz

I'm exhausted today, but I'm determined to do the video before bed. It's hard when I have to go to my 2nd job. I was there until 8:30. Hopefully I can catch up on my rest soon. No extra cardio today.

Day 3 workout done. Today was my rest day on the Supreme 90 Day system, but I did take the kids to the park for an hour. Also resisted a bag of candy that a friend offered to me. Tough to do, since I was hungry at the time, but I'm so glad that I did!

I've got to say, all day my abs ached and I really didn't know why. I realized later it was from yesterdays workout. The little bit of time I spent and feeling this? Astonishing!

Yeah I am doing my 30 minutes, the video for today for 10, up and down the stairs for 10 es for my cardio and stretching and floor exercises before bed for 10 minutes. Feeling really good about myself.....All by the way with a bad foot. Just found out surgery is scheduled for the 27th of January. I will do these things even with pain knowing the pain will be gone. I will almost be able to complete the whole Challenge. Only 4 days short which I can make up. I am also taking care of the chronic muscle pull I have never addressed with the P.T. exercises. Now I am combining everything. Really on a roll. emoticon

Nicole sure makes the workouts look easier than they are, but I guess that is a testament to my fitness level. :) The short 7 - 9 minutes of the videos, although intense, are very doable, and will help me cultivate an exercise attitude.

Yay! Did video 1 on day 1. Today did both day 2 & 3 videos along with 30 min of cardio. Whew! I'm extra proud of myself, because my period started today and I have severely bad cramps....yet I accomplished all this !!!

I've been wiped out because of work the past few days but i did do the day 1 video today. I've realized that tracking what i'm eating isn't an issue but exercise certainly is so i need to get myself motivated on that front. My 1st goal was to loose 20 lbs by 1/1/12 (from mid October) - i lost 19 and just couldn't hit that elusive 20 lbs. I've started to think my next goal would be another weight goal, but i think instead of weight i'm going to make it exercised based and see how that goes.

Whew. I went away to the mountains for New Years Eve and Day where I was quite active but didn't do any videos. No computers, smart phones, etc was sort of the point.

Then I got sicker than a dog when I returned. Totally wiped out on Monday. Miraculous recover today but I had to push my running day over to today, Tuesday, which meant Day Two's lower body training was out. So I did Day Three.

Have I totally blown this challenge in the first few days? If not, how do I record it?

I worked out Sunday, Monday and today however I didn't join the challenge until today. I've created my own challenge for my friends on Facebook as well and am joining a challenge at my gym! I'm hoping to lose this last 52 pounds. I've lost 108 so far, almost 50 of that with SparkPeople! It's been hard but I'm not giving up!

It was a challenging day, close the books at work plus inventory.

No lunch; got my water in though. Didn't get home until 8:15 tonight. Still got the video done too.

had a very busy day, spending 2 hours taking my partner to the doctor which resulted in my not having a time for lunch. I came up a bit short on my calories today and ate extra for dinner to compensate.
I also managed to make it to Group Power class. I think I'm going to be sore tomorrow! I think weight lifting class & today's video may have been a bit much!

Ok Day 2 is done and done - still haven't tracked my food here at sparkpeople, there is only so much time during the day and with my full schedule I'm lucky to track my workouts. :)

I still need to log my video I did today but in addition to the video I did:

-trained 2 clients today using my circuit training for the belly dancer ;) - completing the workout with one of them.

-did 30 minutes of of belly dance isolations (shoulders and ribs as today's video was lower body)
-walked the dogs twice (40 minutes total)
-spent another 30 minutes prepping choreography for my troupe (which isn't done sittin' down lol)

I ate scrambled eggs with marinated feta cheese for breakfast
A chicken pot pie for lunch
and a small plate of lasagna for dinner

Now it's time to finish up some class notes for the class I'm teaching tomorrow and then do it all again tomorrow :) 0500 comes awful early :) Nite ya'll

Day three, done! 27 more to go, lol! I really enjoyed this video. The stretches were fabulous and really relaxed me, plus I'm down for ANY exercise I can do while sitting. :D I also did 30 minutes on the Wii. Again, I know it isn't hardcore cardio, but it's keeping me balanced with my wobbly "cankles" and keeping me active! Win, win in my book. :D Good job everyone! Let's keep up the momentum!!

I didn't post yesterday after doing my day one video...but today...I did the lower body workout video and let me tell you...I'm sweating like an oldie! Managing to get some cardio in too..not always the 30 minutes...but at least I'm getting it in and that's why I joined the challenge...to help me develop better exercise habits in 2012!

emoticon I just finished 40 minutes on my recumbent, did the video and some strength training exercises this morning.

Had an issue happen this afternoon that would have usually sent me to the emotional eating (finding some mac-n-cheese was almost a thought I would have entertained). But as hard as I have been working... I opted to raid my grand-baby's cheddar bunnies. I actually read the serving size (50 crackers) and split one serving with her. That's progress...

Hi,

I'm on Day 3, but just finished day 2 video. I'll catch up in the future.

I have no issue with the cardio: been walking 3 or 4 miles daily. Easy for me.

But the videos show me how I need strength and toning.
Getting down on the floor is an issue, and my knees and joints are
so creaky. So I am 'modifying' the exercises so I can do them comfortably.
It is what it is.

I am committed to doing this, and stretching my abilities,
as well as stretching my limbs and muscles.

One day at a time!

finished my day 3 legs and back feeling very tired and achy. yesterday i spent one and a half hours up and down a ladder helping my husband put up crown molding in my bedroom. don't know how many calories i burned but i got alot of exercise and a lovely bed room emoticon

one small step today on nasty pound gone tomorrow

Ok, I am done with day 3, have so far done the workouts and my cardio, I am pleased with this week so far and I am really motivated to get through the entire 28 days. Yeah!!

Sometimes you have to forget how you feel and remember what you deserve.

Woo! I just finished with Day 1 and Day 2 videos since I'm starting on a Tuesday, and I am beat! I thought before doing these workouts, "How much can you seriously sweat in 8 minutes?" . . . and I was wrong! The short intervals workout is a perfect addition - love it. I am so looking forward to the remainder of this January challenge.

My weight goal is to lose 1 pounds. My excise goal is to walk more, and to get back on my bicycle. To that end, I've asked my husband to get my bike tuned up for my birthday later this month. When the weather is walkable, I want to walk to work a couple of days per week.
