205 today down 5 lbs, which is most of what I gained last week from all the emotional/stress night eating I did. Helps to get right back on the program and not beat myself up over it. I was disappointed in myself, but I didn't give up, just looked at what I was doing and tried to figure out how to cope.

190.4 pounds. I am okay with that. I continue to lose inches--not a lot every month but over the year, I have lost 10 inches around my waist. When I look at myself from pictures a year ago, I can tell. My weight has been roughly stable over that period after a 30 pound weight loss where nothing seem to change inch wise. I have a big trip planned, will be gone for a week, and will track calories when I get back.

This is my first weigh in and I am at 177.4 pounds. I have done weight watchers in the past, but I didn't have much success. I would lose and regain the same 5 pounds over and over again. My cousin has been using spark people so I thought I would give it a try. Good luck to everyone this week.

Just joined the team and this here my first official weigh-in and the number is 212.6. My goal is to see 135. My biggest hurdles i know are going to be finding the motivation to exercise during my busy schedule, with 40/hr work week and full-time school some days i'm ready to come home and crash but i know with a little bit of determination i can do it! emoticon

Congrats to everyone. You're doing a great job. I, on the other hand had a very, very stressful week and it shows. Today I weighed in at 210 which is a gain of six pounds. Work has been awful and I come home and eat everything in sight. That combined with being tired and no exercise account for the gain.
So I guess the good thing is I know why, now I have to work out a game plan to stop it. No way am I giving up. This is a huge speed bump, but I WILL get over it.

Well, 3lbs down from last week....I feel good about it but can't help thinking that I could have lost more had I eaten more....I've eaten less than 1000 calories per day this entire week! Ran out of most of my acceptable foods and didn't want to cheat so I filled my belly with water and rationed until I was able to go shopping late yesterday. We'll see if my theory holds...I will eat better this week and see if it helps on the next weigh in :) I think my body was holding on to its fat because it thought I was starving! And I must admit, I was a little hungry, but not as hungry as I thought I'd be...when I drank water the hunger went away and I was able to make it to my next meal :)

Bought a new scale after my old one broke....found out my old scale was "broken" even before I realized it. My new scale shows I weigh 25lbs MORE than what I originally thought emoticon emoticon emoticon So, after all of my past efforts I have no idea how much I've really lost because I have no idea what I originally weighed....I feel better and I'm looking better, but I'm still a little put off. I've decided to just start over basically from the point of my new enlightened scale weight. So Yesterday was the first day of my new weight loss regimen.....To hold myself accountable, I'm posting my progress here....we'll see how this goes. emoticon .

Hi, All.

155 - down .5 lb this week and very pleased with my turtle pace. But, that said, I'm pretty much scared to death about NEXT week's numbers because I'm traveling/visiting family (unfortunately not for happy reasons), and am still working on how to handle the additional challenges. My head knows what to do - so it's "just" a matter of getting my behaviors in line with what I've learned. Am spinning/logging food and activity, but at not at the Starbucks long enough to do any friend responding. Headed back to the car now... See you in 7 days!

I've begun 3 prescriptions that have constipation as a side effect. Without having stepped on the scale, I knew I hadn't lost weight. But I wasn't prepared for how high the scale reads!! All the more reason to be vigilant about the portion size of my snacks. emoticon

I've been on my weightloss journey for 8 weeks now but hit a few bumps. (Lost 8 pounds in 8 weeks.) BUT I lost 2 pounds this week!! WOW! Guess my body is finally givin' it up! Haha...

This is my first official weigh-in since joining this team and the number is 168.8. My goal is to see 147 which would mean I will have lost half my weight since beginning this journey 6 years ago. I don't know if it will be realistic to maintain at 147 but I won't know until I get there.

emoticon Ok so I am up a pound, but I have an overactive fork! Everytime my elbow bends my mouth flies open. I love food. The older I get the harder it is to lose. I did join the chair exercise forum yesterday, so I will start some of their exercises today. Wish me luck!

Weighed in at 162 this morning. I didn't lose anything, but I didn't gain either. I was sick most of the week and struggled to get my minimum calories each day and was unable to work out until Friday, so it could be worse.

I weighed in today 2 pounds heavier and I didn't get to go to Spain for their yummy food. I have been right on with my tracker goals and exercise, so I am going to say yeah anyway for the healthy lifestyle I am working on. I am hoping to break that 170 mark before the month is out.
