Tuesday, Wednesday: stayed within range for carbs

Been working on keeping my carbs within range and not going over, but not off to a good start this week

Sunday: over
Monday: over
Tuesday: ya, stayed in range

I need to increase calcium. My previous calcium intake was close to nil.

I always go over on sodium and under on calcium so I am going to try to make my calcium goals this week.
10/23 Fell short my first day, only 99 out of 120mg.
10/24 Fell waaayyy short. 40 out of 120.
10/25 Made it! 137. Had to take a Centrum though.
10/26 Did it again. 148 after another Centrum.
10/27 Only 78 even after a Centrum. This is harder than I thought.
10/28 137 again yay!
10/29 136. Whew! I did it.

I tend to eat too many carbs and not enough fat and fiber. This week I am going to focus on staying within my daily recommended carbs.

This week's challenge is Nutritional Goals!

Spark People gives all of us recommended daily nutritional goals of carbs, protein, fat, fiber, etc.

When you run your daily nutritional report, you may see one (or two) areas you tend to eat too much of and one (or two) areas you don't meet your daily nutritional goals.

This week's challenge is to pick one area you need to work on meeting your daily nutritional requirements, where one you need to work on increasing or one you need to work on decreasing.

For participating in the challenge, you will receive the emoticon award, for meeting the challenge four of seven days, a spark goodie.
