This week I have struggled to do the challenges and have honestly fallen behind. Now my plantar faciitis is back and going full force. Painkillers aren't working anymore. I saw the doctor and I start physical therapy next week. I'm afraid I am going to have to give up to avoid further injury. I'll try to keep up the exercise I did before the challenge (pilates, weight work and cardio) but I just can't go for the push. I hate giving up.

Week 4 day 2 done. I did the video for today and added day 1 again. Also did 10 minute of Jane Fonda cardio workout. Plus my 1 mile walk. Again part of the pilates moves got to me, but this is the easier of the 2 (so I tell myself) and I did it!!

Hang in there girl! I know how you feel. I was doing so well this week and even planned my food all weekend, but still ended up having fried appetizers for lunch, a cookie at the movies and even a donut on Saturday! I was so disappointed. I do so well during the week and then totally blow it on the weekends. But I'm NOT going to beat myself up. I can start over any minute of the day and get back on my feet. I'm going to finish up the boot camp strong this week. I've lost about 4 lbs since I started, & that keeps me motivated. Keep your head up, shake yourself off and get back into it. You know what you are made of! Let's go!

I'm happy it's week four. I've sort of felt in a funk and I feel like I'm slacking off this week and I cannot seem to work up the energy to stop it. Week one I did each video when we were supposed to, and I did my cardio M-F, plus I go to Zumba on Saturday so I had an extra cardio day in there. Week two I did a bonus video twice, Week three I did each video twice, and I got in my 5 veggies each day but did not continue with my bonus video from week two. Yesterday I only did the Kickboxing and I only did that once. I had two veg servings and no fruits, today I have in two fruits for breakfast, two veg for snack, and two veg for lunch but then I came home and ate a huge bowl of ice cream for dinner. It was all emotional eating, but I couldn't stop myself. I did do the Crunchlees Core twice after that and I have Zumba at 6:30 but I just feel lousy.

I am excited and proud that I will finish this bootcamp and I think I'll do another one someday soon, but maybe I won't be as strict with myself. I took it very literal that Day One was Sunday, Day Two Monday and so on, so I made sure I was doing cardio every day Monday through Friday... well Friday cardio just plain sucks.

I have gained about 2 pounds during May, maybe it's muscle, I've never done stregnth training before and I can see muscles I didnt' know I had now but maybe it's from having ice cream for dinner... I've gone over my allotted calories 16 of the 23 days this month, and it's not like they gave me some puny 1,200 calories a day or anything. I have up to 1,980 calories a day and I'm going over! Now that exercise is a part of my daily routine I need to reign back in my food.

I'm just feeling down today, thanks for listening.

I added an extra 20 minutes to my normal 30 minute cardio on the elliptical today! Never would I have thought I could do that, but I did! I definitely have my favorite bootcamp videos and will continue using them after bootcamp is over. It's great to see the progress each week when doing the videos again. Hard to believe it is Week 4 already!

I keep on truckin' with lots of walking in the hot Georgia weather. I'm learning some great exercises using Nicole's videos. This has been a great challenge.

The end!
So I actually followed through for 4 weeks which is great for me! I had a few days where I had to make up some videos, but I am ok with that because I actually did them. Hopefully this will have been the kick start I needed to keep myself going (even though I actually gained a couple of pounds in the last 3 weeks:-)).
Good luck to you all!

So I started my week 4 back on Friday...But I'm ecstatic...since I will be completing this segment prior to my 30th birthday...This last week I involved my 10 yr old son in parts of my workout, since my girls' are already overly active, he was the one I was a lil worried about...But I have accomplished so much this month...and still more to come...

week 4 day 2 video done. This bootcamp has really kick started my weight loss journey. Since I started this bootcamp 3 weeks ago I have lost 7 lbs., I will have to find a new challenge or bootcamp when I am done with this one. I am signed up for the Biggest Loser challenge but that will not start until August. I do plan to continue some of the videos and cardio. Sounds like everyone is doing great with the bootcamp, KEEP IT UP we are almost at the end and the results will be great!! emoticon

Week 4 Day 2 here. I'll do my video, doubled up, when I get home from work. I bought 4 new workout dvds, so I'll try one of them after the videos.

After this week, the only challenge I'll be signed up for is a Biggest Loser challenge on one of my teams. I'm going to have to find another bootcamp to start. I really enjoy doing them, and it helps me to remain accountable.

Fathinsn-I don't know how you managed to do Crunchless Core twice. That video kills me. But I agree on the hips, glutes, thigh video. Its one of my favorites too.

Kristi-I agree. I will also continue using the videos after this is over. I'm considering buying her workout DVD as well.

Julie- emoticon and congrats on the 2 lbs!

Ncremeens-awesome job with the bike ride! You're a warrior! And I agree, I think the calories are higher than what they logged in as.

Hungrywoman2-Which dance video do you use? I'm always looking for new DVDs, to help mix things up and keep it fresh.

Yeswedid-I totally agree about the bootcamps. I'm going to find a new one to sign up for when I'm done with this week.

Cecilie- Just emoticon !!!

MrsRome-I haven't hurt my back with the Crunchless Core video, but I did pull something in the back of my knee the first time I did it. I still TRY to do it, but I'm really careful on how far I lean back and bend the knee. It might be better for you to swap out a traditional crunch workout for this video. You don't want to hurt yourself to the point of actual injury.

Have a great week everyone! Finish strong!!!

Missed Week 4 Day 1 yesterday. Really bummed about it too.
I've had a headache for 4 days now. I'm totally drained and tossed and turned all night last night.
I need sunshine!! HaHa. We've had about 1 day of sun in the last week.

I'm planning on going to gym after work. Hoping to get in a minimum of 30 mins of cardio in. I'll do day 1 and day 2 videos after that.

UGH!!!

Congratulations you all! Great job! I, on the other hand, failed miserably. I've up my walking time, but did not keep up with the daily indoor workouts. Do I start over or do I simply pick up from here? Please advise.

When I joined the challenge, I discovered that 2 of the videos were things that give me quite a bit of pain. One of the videos had alternative and the other was short so I thought it would be OK. Well last week my body said no more, so this week I'll be doing videos I don't have problems with.

I must be doing something wrong with the Core Crunchless video. I tend to hurt in my back. I've substituted with a Denise Austin core video for 12 minutes. Really not sure why I'm having this problem, but making sure to get some core work in this week. I've also added some weight lifting for the upper body today. I will do my 30+ minutes of cardio later today.

Good luck to you all.

Well into week 4 and I did not do as well as I hoped but I have increased my cardio from 30 to 60 minutes. I did some of the videos but found that work would get in the way. Well will try another challange. I did like the videos that Coach Nicole has.

Went to a gym nearby and because of my age my weight goal has changed. What a wonderful thing to have you fat percentage measured. Scary but wonderful I am trying to think out of the box more.

Entering Week 4 the other day, I discovered I faced the exercises with more energy. The question of interest here is: is the more positive attitude because I know it's almost over.... or have I begun to enjoy the challenge more?

My guess? I think this month of switching to a different exercise pattern has had positive impact on me, in a general sort of way. While I do mix up my specific exercises and activities, limitations in mobility/ability do limit options to vary the patterns. So the videos gave me new structure that was a healthy change-up.

Day 2 has begun and i could not get up this morning. Need to do 2 videos and cardio tonight...ugg. Don't know how I will get it all in. Still soooooo tired. Busy weekend landscaping-laying sod and planting flowers. Yard looks great but I am sore in all sorts of places. Wish me luck this week, I need it.

Week 4 Day 3, WooHoo!
6 minutes doing SP 6-minute hips, glutes & thighs workout, following the video. Then, do the same video by my own pace, without the video in 9 minutes. So, total for today, 15 minutes plus sore thighs and butt cheeks, haha. One of my favourite toning videos in SIS workout videos ;D

Okay, I did week 4 day 1 first thing this morning as I told myself I would so that gives me time this afternoon or evening to do day2 and be where I would be if I hadn't spent a day talking myself into the challenge. I'll have to fit it in after the art judging and before the grandkids get home from school or after our dinner club meeting this evening. I'll be doing water aerobics this morning.

I am proud to have done the daily videos each and every day and that is the best momentum ever. I plan on taking it with me as I go forward: working out every single day, even if it means just getting in some toning. It is important for me to feel accomplished in my battle against the kilos and working out consistently does that for me. So my long term goals are:

- keep working out every day
- aim for 60 minutes of cardio 5 days a week
- be able to take a long bike ride
- walk the trails in the wine growing area nearby
- feel proud of all I am doing even when the scale isn't budging

I am sure I have many more things, I'd love to achieve but these were a few of my goals for now.

i am continuing with my 5 days of cardio this week - trying to change it up a bit day to day. Also doing the exercise videos which I can still feel but at least I feel I know what I'm doing now. And i'll add an extra video at least 3 times this week.
Will keep up with drinking lots of water and eating lots of fruit and veggies!
Plan on finishing strong.

This is my second Bootcamp Challenge; something I've REALLY enjoyed and it has helped me meet my fitness goals and then some. I'm the type of person who needs structure and a gentle push...from there, I take things there and beyond. It's just a matter of getting started with my fitness before/after a busy day. Boy! My body has seen a REAL difference. I hope everyone on this challenge team has had as much fun and success as I have!

Have enjoyed the videos, but still need to improve some of the moves and my endurance.
One of my goals includes using these videos regularly now.

I'm on Day 1 of week 4 and could not get the video for Day 1 to work again. I think I've gotten it to work 3 times and one of those was on Day 2. I have no problem with the other videos. I've been trying all day and just lost my internet connection on my laptop. I did a 4 mile L Sansone Walk Slim dvd so maybe that can count!!! Will try and get it tomorrow night and do that and Day 2. Very frustrating and time consuming. I like the video when I can get it!
I also am doing week 4 and will finish even though I somehow clicked in the week 4 box so I supposedly finished. Been trying all afternoon and evening to find out what to do about that too. I guess as long as I finish everything this week, and I plan to, I'll be okay.

Rather slow beginning. I have tracked my food for the day, and have increased my cardio by continuing to use the new dance video. It increases incrementally in intensity as skill progresses.
Unfortunately, I did not get in all of my fruits and vegetables. I am still doing a great deal of clean-up, and that is taking more time than I would like.

Just completed day two of week 4 challenge. I can't believe I am almost done with this challenge. In some ways I don't want it to end. I can tell that the exercises are really working my muscles, and that I am gaining more and more strength in different areas. Hope the rest of the week goes well.

Started week 4 today and it was my day off of cardio and I went on a 7 mile bike ride with my mother, pulling my 35 lbs nephew in a 10 pound trailer, against the wind - whew! I think my SparkPeople calorie estimate was quite a bit on the conservative side. I definitely started the week off to a good start!

Cardio Kickboxing video done for the day but nothing more. It's the closest thing to a rest day I've had since this started. Maybe if it cools down tonight I repeat the video.
