Week 2 done. I did a few other videos, but the option to add them to my fitness tracker was not available. I am still getting quite a workout with the videos. I am trying to recover from a half marathon yesterday, but will still try to do Wk 3, day one today. We'll see!

I did pretty well except I forgot to track the strength training. I was thrilled when I noticed I lost three pounds. My biggest challenge I see is in my food I'm eating. The food tracker is showing me gaps in my food choices so I know a few areas I need to work on. I hope to report soon that those habits have improved too. emoticon

I am re-starting week 2 as I completely bombed at it last week. I started my original week 2 with our local race for the cure and by time the day was done, I had clocked over 7.5 miles on the pedometer. My legs hurt for the next two days and I lost motivation. But I am still committed to finishing all 4 weeks and it starts with a redux of week 2!

Last day of week 2 tomorrow! I've actually made it half way through a challenge. I usually end up quitting them after week 1. Im going to finish this one for sure! I had a great day today and even managed to post a blog." The grass isn't always greener on the skinnier side of things" Check it out! Hope everyone is having an awesome week 2.

I am so excited that I am not ready to give up! Usually when I start working out I start to fizzle out and burn out quickly and rarely make it past 2 or 3 weeks. I am going the distance this time. I feel better with each new day. In the past 3 weeks my resting heart rate has went down 15 beats per minute! I have also lost 7 pounds! It is all of the cardio I am doing. I am proud of myself :) That feels nice to say. Congrats to all of you for finishing week 2! This bootcamp gave me the kickstart I needed...

I had days when I couldn't get the videos because my computer was acting crazy. I had to make up the workouts on other days, but managed to get them in. I burned more calories than I set out to do. I can't believe that when I did the Turbo Jam workout today, and actually did more of the high intensity stuff, it felt much easier to do than the last time I tried it. I'm feeling stronger. I know these workouts work. Looking forward to week 3!

I finished week 2!! Had a slow start with Mother's Day, my oldest daughter's birthday and my 35th wedding anniversary, but made up for lost time and did extra videos and cardio. Good thing today was a gorgeous day - I mowed my lawn and took my dogs for a walk. Sunshine and SparkPeople are my biggest motivators!! emoticon

I have been using my smartphone to watch the videos because they won't come up on my computer when I want to do them. It is very frustrating!!!

I lost a little over a pound this week and am happy about it. I am back to exercising daily, something I haven't done in over a year!!!

Thanks for the boot camp!!!

I've decided to repeat week 2. I've made too many compromises this week--between trying to find "almost" the same workout on one of my dvd's because it was too hard to get to my computer at home and eating odd meals because the medication I'm taking has completely altered my sense of taste, I feel like I got too far astray.

Tough week as my sinuses are really draining my energy!! I did all the steps asked including the 20 minute dumbell workout! Great workout if you have not tried it.

FYI- I find that using my smartphone to watch the videos while I'm at the gym is fantastic. Just go to your YouTube app and type in "Sparkpeople". You can add the words "abs", "resistance bands" and such to get the correct video.

I spent 3-4 hours on my feet at the post office with the food drive-carrying bins of bagged food, separating it into bins and my back and feet are killing me but I am going to get my D6 video done and get on my exercise bike. I started a day late but maybe if I get a burst of energy I could do 6 & 7 and be on the right schedule, but I couldn't do anymore cardio so I'm not sure that would count.

Finished week two - really like learning some exercises to do with resistance bands . I have been using the tracker for my food right along so that was not difficult to continue to do. Congrats to fellow team mates for finishing week two - on to week #3 .

I love being apart of this challenge! It has motivated me to get up off my rump and get some exercise done every day! Also, I loved the extra challenge this week. It was fun to find new videos! I couldn't help myself and ended up adding 5 instead of just 2!

Finished week 2! WooHoo! So happy that we will be starting week 3 tomorrow! Yeeeessss! My abs are still sore today but it's good to know that they are working. I sure hope the scale tomorrow will be friendlier. If not, I have already decided that regardless of what it says, I am feeling stronger and feeling muscles I haven't felt for years! So, it's a success even if the scales disagree with me.

Keep up the great work everyone! WE CAN DO IT!

Finished this second week, using soup cans for weights. baby sitting still for grand kids, and forgot to bring my weights. I usually use at least a 5lb weight, so it seemed way to easy to me.Only other exercise is trying to keep the twins plus baby happy. Whooh! been way too long! No wonder I was so tired raising my two sons. I go home Monday, so will really pick up the heat to make up for what I couldn't this week, due to illness first, and now being at my son's. diana

Only lost 1 lb this week. Thank God I started reading "The Spark" this week. I'm not frustrated, I'm kind of proud of myself because I was able to complete this week's worth of exercising. At least I lost. I've been pretty much stable on 189 to 185. Next week I will lose at least another lb, if more I will be happy. I believe small changes mean a healthier, happier me. I am looking for weight lost to be a slow progress. Even with the weight lose going slow-I am enjoying exercising everyday.

Much thanks to "The Spark" I needed it today.

Hoorah for Week 2. Just need to do complete my 30 minutes and video. About to do the video now.

I just finished week two. It was a tough one as I was traveling for work and that means disruptions to my routines, so I'm feeling good that I completed the week, did all the videos, and the aerobics. I'm hoping that the coming week is a little easier. I'm finding the pilates exercises especially challenging---must mean that I need them!

Just have to complete my D7 video tonight and get in at least 30 minutes of cardio and I have completed week 2! Had a rough week with some serious family issues, attending a funeral, and rallying around my family, but I did pretty well all things considered. Hopefully week 3 will go off better.

Barely eeked through today's video again. I am doing them, but not with the umph I had in the past with the challenge. My body is just so worn out from the almost daily small vertigo spells, I have no energy and very little balance. Everything is even more modified then it ever was before. I am thinking I should not have opted for this challenge knowing my symptoms increase as the weather gets warmer. I guess I did so hoping against hope that I could keep it away with my enthusiasm...it was worth a shot! ;) Anyway, Day 7 video done and 10 minutes of cardio....in pieces but done. Onto Week 3 tomorrow....I am NOT giving up.

Life is meant to be experienced and enjoyed...I choose to live my life to the fullest with every second I am given. I am so blessed!

I LOVE this bootcamp challenge! I've had to baby my knee a little bit when kneeling on the floor, but I am still doing it! Next week I may substitute videos that don't require me to be on my knees. I haven't seen any visible changes yet, but my husband can see it AND I can feel it in the fit of my clothes!
Keep up the great work, Sparkers! We CAN do this!!

I completed week 2 today and added Nicole's bootcamp upper body videos (weights) on the same days that I did the upper body resistance band videos.

I've also discovered a great site to get free Internet cardio workouts if you are exercising inside and need some variety. Try the free videos at Exercise TV: http://www.exercisetv.tv/workout-videos/

Week 2 is done. I feel really good about it. I did my videos everyday even if it was late at night. I pushed myself. I love having this hold me accountable. My challenge for next week it to do each video more than once. Most of them I did twice but a few I could only do1 time. Cant wait for week 3!!

Just finished week 2 and I feel good. There is something I hardly ever say- I feel good. Usually its I don't feel bad. So there is an accomplishment in itself. On to week 3

Finished the two extra videos and have done the videos each day plus food tracking. Why on the last day of the week I have to eat a lot is frustrating. I should have stuck with the good tasting fruit and not had any cake since I loaded up on fruit!!! Will try next week to get the whole week right!

Those videos are going to kill me. emoticon

Doing well with Cardio - still struggling with the toning videos. Will take longer then this challenge timeline I think before I master the moves.

Day 6 done! I can't believe the second week is almost over. Although I didn't see a dramatic change in my weight this week, my endurance just sky-rocketed in the past couple of days. I mean, at the very beginning, I was hurting and I was fed up after 15 minutes of stationnary biking, tonight, I just did 40 minutes!!! YAAAAAA! I'm so happy. I just did the video (I'm still able to do it just once, but at least this time I was able to do all of it!!!) and my second bonus video, so everything is dandy, I just wish that weight would come down!!! Anyways, I'll keep going anyways and remind myself that I'm doing this for my health, my looks, my life!!!!! Next week, I'm going to try to do the videos twice, see if I can push myself a little harder...if not, well, it'll be for week 4.

Go team go!!! We can do this!

Hi CATHYDIANEB,
You could post your question on the General Discussion for this team, someone from SP will reply on that board.

Glad you thought of some exercises that fit for you for today.
I hope your pain is eased.

All the best to you!!.
Debbie
