Wow. Y'all...I've really been (surprisingly) enjoying these workouts. They are pushing me, I've been breathing hard, etc. But today...when we were blasting my butt...I was literally dripping sweat.

Did not do this one. I can't be on my hands and knees like this calls for. Does anyone know how to modify this to a standing or sitting routine?

Done with Day 6. I was sort of afraid to do this video at first after previewing it yesterday, but I had fun once I started. Definitely felt my butt and the backs of my thighs on this one lol. Also did 30 minutes of elliptical, which felt quite good. :)

Okay... call me sick; but, I LOVED this workout! I had a little trouble keeping up with the rapid pace of the pulse/kicks at the end though. It just gives me a goal for next week! LOL!

I couldn't do the video today. With my arthritis, there's no way I can get on my hands and knees. I wonder if there's a way to modify those exercises? I did, however, get in 30 minutes on the treadmill. This has been a difficult week for me, with my daughter in the hospital and a lot of my time being taken up there. I'm proud of myself for getting in any of the exercise and maintaining a healthy diet......

They call me ReRe.....

The only way you fail.....

Yeesh! I was doing okay until the side one - holy smokes! But I did it, like all y'all, and got my cardio in, even though I'd considered flaking out earlier today (my two little ones conspired to have one or the other awake ALL NIGHT). I got on this morning to log my breakfast and started poking around and everyone is just so inspiring, I couldn't be a wuss about it. So a big THANK YOU for the motivation and congratulations on almost being done with week 1!

Ok, my butt will never be the same thanks to that day 6 video... hahahahaha, and that is ok! WOW what a kicker! Day 6 is completed with a renewed sense of accomplishment. Just did 1 mile in 15 min. due to not feeling so well since Wed. night. But I am back on track. Energy is coming back. Ye-ay!

emoticon Round of applause to all of us for getting through that butt workout!!

I started it thinking hey it's only 5 minutes. I guess I'll do it twice. No way Jose! Once was enough to give me an achy butt....achy in a good way though. Combine that with a 35 minute walk/run (I'm doing the Rookie to 5K running plan) and I think I'll call it good for the day!

Almost done with week 1!!!

Hurray Everyone! You are all doing good.

I did day 5 & 6 videos today, in addition to an hour biking my son around. That was fun cardio. Day 5 was painful, I am going to be feeling it tomorrow. As for day 6, it was a pain the butt, literally. I am defiantly going to be feeling it tomorrow, no bike rides for me for a while.

One day to go before week 1 is finished!!

This one was great--yesterday almost killed me, my neck and shoulders are so sore. But this one I actually did without modifications--I guess there are some butt muscles hiding under all the flab! I intend to seek them out! Hurrah for everyone for sticking with this challenge!

I did Days 5 & 6 today. (Yesterday had too many interuptions to get a continuous video in.) The butt blaster was ok, but my hip joints hurt during the workout. Will have to modify or try a different video.
I also go in 45 minutes of Zumba, so I am done for the day.

After reading all the posts I am scared about this video. I said the same about day 4 and 5 but I completed those. Feeling it in my arms. It is a GOOD pain. Later when I do video 6 Iwill think of all the posts I read and keep going. Feeling motivated for my weigh in tomorrow.Had a whole wheat bagel this morning only to get to work to find out the students were going around with bagels for the staff for teacher's appreciation week. Iturned it down. Not even for lunch later. Good for me!

Just finished Day 6 and I feel awesome. When I started exercising I could on do 10 minutes on the stationary bike before getting winded. I now can go 20 minutes. It has taken 3 weeks to get here and will keep going. Trying to add 5 minutes each week. emoticon

Day 6 is done and I liked it. I probably didn't lift the legs as high as Nicole does but I did all of them and I feel good about it. I also did 42 minutes of cardio so now the exercise for today is done.

OMG! That workout was a killer! I hurt muscles in my butt I didn't know existed! I am very proud of myself for actually sticking to this. I had to be at work at 4 am today and yesterday and thought I would just blow off the videos, but I actually got up and did them. I must admit I feel good .

So I was going to punk out tonight and "skip" tonight's exercise, but as I was surfing the internet (being a slacker) out of habit I went to sparkpeople and checked on my teams. It was so awesome to see all you guys posting that you completed day 6 :D It got me in gear, I completed today's butt workout, and then followed up with 30 min of power yoga.

Wow Day 6! I am proud of me , yesterday I almost went with the old pattern of throwing in the towel and not working out because my day had altered a little but I didnt give in I did my excercise!!

Plan today:

Track food

Excercise video

Cardio:

Clean the garage or Excercise dvd ( depends on weather)
