Day 1 completed yesterday. The kickboxing was a great workout except for the part where she has you kick 3 times then do a jumping jack. Made my knee feel funny. Other than that great start I'll be doing workout # 2 tonight then 30day shred

Day 1 yesterday I got out in the yard with my boys and played baseball with them for almost an hour.Actually had a lot of fun and the boys had a hoot trying to chatter me in to swinging early at the ball.I usually just get to watch them from the stands but it was great fun and may become a weekend favorite.I dont think my husband has laughed so hard in the last 15 yrs we've been married.

Day 1, I painted our 6 ft fence around the pool for 5 hours. According to the fitness tracker I burn 1668 calories. Considering I did this Both Sautrday and Sunday I'd say I got my cardio in. Stayed with in my calorie range and am ready for day 2.

Day one and I blew it yesterday! I did manage to get some lawn work done, I can count that as cardio, but as far as tracking and eating right and getting water in? Nope. It was like I forgot all about the bootcamp challenge. emoticon emoticon

Just finished doing DAY 1 video. My youngest son is helping me by holding my IPAD up so I can see the video and is also cheering me on, or rather yelling like a drill instructor.. think he is making up for all the times I encouraged (yelled) at him while he was doing Football drills. LOL. Also did a 4 mile bike ride prior to video. Feeling pretty good today!! emoticon

emoticon Congratulation to you all. It is so motivating to read of everyone's efforts and success.

My Report: I tried for 1 1/2 hours to get the kickboxing video to load. I was able to access the video but the little circle just kept going around and around and never loaded. It may be my computer? So, since I knew it was kickboxing, I did one of my kickboxing videos for 20 min. Whew!! I realized I am out of shape! I also completed 20 min of cycling for cardio.

Now we have started - lets be sure we continue on to the finish and we will be so much healthier and more toned than we are now. I am rooting for you all. emoticon

emoticon emoticon emoticon is done!!! I had a few moments of buffering issues so I just marched in place while I waited. Overall a good little workout. Just made me realize how totally uncoordinated I am. Two left feet!!!! But managed to keep moving through it all and got it done. I will keep it in mind when I want to do a short cardio and maybe with repetition I will get more coordinated!!

over did it ! make 4 trips to check on my stray cat, than went to Kroger to pick up my med and did a little grocery, it took total of 4 hours, not fun with the walker, and I can't move yesterday!!

Day 1 Cardio - DONE!

ok...that may have been easy for many, but I have not worked out in over a year, and as a result have put on many of the pounds I had originally lost. So for me to actually get up and do the workout this am was HUGE!!!! Moves were modified, but I made it through! WOO HOO!!!!

Looking forward to the rest of the challenge.

I do have one question. Does swimming count as cardio? I am taking my kids to the pool today and I thought I would do laps while they play but I'm not sure how to count it? Any suggestions?

A new month begins and so does the Spring Into Shape Bootcamp Challenge.

I say to myself, "This is just for me!"

Everything is laid out for me in this challenge.

May 1st and I will begin this challenge.

Week One.

I will do my best and make the time to complete the videos this week.
I will do my best and make the time to do at least 20 minutes of cardio Monday to Friday.
I will track my fitness activies on my Fitness Tracker.

Finished the day 1 video... Having done the other bootcamp with coach nicole, I really wish she'd put together two videos for day 1, the one we've got, and the one for people who have absolutely no clue what she's doing. It would be slower, go through a little more instruction, and help us get our coordination. I hope, like the last bootcamp, this is only a problem with the cardio video, but I really could not follow what she was doing.

I started yesterday and loved the video. I did it after a couple hours of heavy yard work hoping it would loosen me up and it helped. There used to be a kick-boxing style cardio class at the gym and I did it once a week for years so I thought this was a lot of fun.

OMG HAHAHAHAHAH what an uncoordinated person I am!!! I can't even follow her in the moves for the boxing LOL I kept thinking what would those 2 new ones on biggest loser do with me LOL but the main thing is I kept moving and doing the same thing just not exactly the same. I got through and not too winded. Good for me day 1 that part done!

Even though technically I started yesterday, I am counting tomorrow as my official DAY 1 which will start with 20min of cardio followed by my complimentary personal training session that came with my new gym membership! I am feeling optimistic and positive!

Today was my day one - after "fighting" with my computer to get online for about an hour, I was finally able to connect to the internet and did the kickboxing video. Wow, am i uncoordinated.

This afternoon i spent an hour in the pool with the kids - did some laps, played Marco Polo (why does it always end up with 4 or 5 "its" all after me???) and tossed some of them over my shoulder a few times. I was exhausted when I got out! But it felt really great to play - I haven't done that in too long!

day 2 done . I was doing pilates before but it seems not enough. definitely will do this again.60 min cardio. I'm mixing this with 5k your way training and soon another challenge. all this while I don't have enough time to study. I must be crazy!

Did the day 1 cardio kickboxing workout and I am always surprised at how much a 10 minute cardio routine can kick my butt. I always find the jumping jacks hard on my knees, but managed to finish without hurting. The scissor legs got me to almost use my asthma inhaler, but not quite. The beginning grapevine, I did not understand exactly what she was doing. Most of the rest, I think I got.

Ok day one week one: Thursday , I got home , changed into my work out and did the ten min kick boxing cardio video , yes i followed through !!

Did day two strengthening exercise just now and realized just how out of shape I have become in the last few months. I was up to 120 crunches a day until I moved and could not get to the gym. I will get there again, it will just take practice and losing this extra weight that found me over the winter!

I'm starting on Saturday this weekend! I've been using this week to clean out the rest of the carbs/processed food from my kitchen and get ready for 4 weeks of healthy eating. I've been so busy at work and grad school for the last month, but am expecting things to slow down a lot in May, so I can't wait to get back to daily exercising and meal planning and cooking :-)

Here's to a healthy summer for all!

I did day 1 yesterday... I love Coach Nicole, but I am not always very coordinated, and some of this video was hard in that regard. ;-)
