I finally did the video. Boy, this one was hard!

I did 20 minutes of stationnary bike today! That's great for me, I was able to do 5 minutes more than last time! Woohoo! I'll keep at 20 minutes for the next few times and then I'll up it another 5 minutes and work my way up to 30 minutes slowly but surely. I'll do this every 2 days and play some wii (Zumba or Dance dance) every other day...

ANALAA : Don't give up!!! You'll get better as time goes by, just stick with it, do it for yourself, you'll see, you'll be proud, keep at it!

FINALLY over this stomach flu. Been slowly easing myself back into the workouts. Hoping to finish with a bang. :)

Glad for another "bootcamp"...these help me stay on track when I get lazy with my "Tracking". That and....I love the trophy at the end as well!

To everyone who is discouraged because they have to modify the workouts; keep going! I am so out of shape (I need to lose 140 pounds) that I am not even doing the 30 minute workouts-I know I can't. But I am doing the day1 ten minute cardio everyday and the short toning workout for each day and I am tracking my nutrition religiously and...I Have Lost Ten Pounds since Sunday!!! I have to make every move slower and smaller than in the video but I am getting a little stronger and faster everyday. I have so much more enery and the brain-fog is gone! I'm walking around with a smile (this is not me!). So don't give up and don't feel bad if you can't keep up, just keep going at your own pace and it will work! emoticon

So----

I missed the memo to start this on SUNDAY. I started with Day 1 on Monday. Then I doubled up day 2 and 3 on Tuesday. I took yesterday (wednesday) as my day of rest and recovery- and today I am doubling up on day 4 and 5.... am I insane? Maybe. If 4 and 5 are anything like 2 and 3 I will be feeling it all day saturday!

And working in that 30 min of cardio is a beast!!! I am doing 20 min walks on my lunch breaks at work and then 10 min videos when I get home to total my 30.

Challenge? YOU BETCHA!

Day 5 was difficult for me as I am still recovering from a broken wrist. I had to modify this one quite a bit but I did it! Woot!

Made it through day 5 - but found the Pilates today pretty hard, and didn't quite manage some of them for the full time. I'm really enjoying the challenge, feeling the burn, but surprised how much better the exercise is actually making me feel.

I've been recording all my calories for nearly 3 weeks now and today was the first one I've gone over, only slightly and done lots of extra exercise, so don't feel guilty for a change.

I can't believe how much more positive I'm felling about it all at the moment - having goals to strive for is really helping.

Hi all! I have been a member of Spark for awhile now, but I have become stuck at my current weight for a few months and I decided to join this challenge to get moving again! The week one goals seem a little tame to me as I already track my food and I aim for 30-60 minutes of exercise a day, but I think the weekly emails will keep me motivated and I am already doing better at staying within my calorie range emoticon I am looking forward to the coming weeks and hopefully the scale will resume it's downward movement!

Went for my 2 mile walk/jog last night and DS rode his bike with me, I think I will start going a little farther each day. Hope everyone has an awesome spark day.

Whew! I just finished Day 5 Video...I'm not sure about this pilates stuff! I've been exercising for years but never got into pilates. I think I like any other exercises better. Anyway, I'm following the plan, logging my food most of the time and exercising. I'll never wear a bikini, but I know I will look and feel better!

Week one is going well so far, I am quite sore today but that's a good thing. I don't know what it is about Tuesdays for me but I find it hard to get motivated to work out on that day. Totally weird but I'm doing my cardio and videos every other day.

I am on Day 3 and I just finished my video AND my cardio already (since I have work the rest of the day) and since I started on Tuesday I have already lost about 2 pounds! I have been doing my best at eating right and keeping up with the exercise and it has so far been successful! My goal for the end of the 4 weeks is to feel better about myself, have more energy and be bathing suit ready for the beach! I LOVE BOOTCAMP!!! emoticon

After reading some of the comments, I am a little confused. I didn't start on May 1st. I started on the 2nd. Does that mean that I won't be able to complete the challenge? Or can I finish the day after the end?

Just finished day 5 video, and loved this one. I did really well, until the side lifts. I am weak in my upper body still, so I normally do the cheat sheet version. Later, I did practice the side move on one hand..but used my other hand to support my body. I hurt myself doing this move a few years ago, so making sure I work up to it. My Yoga classes do a lot of belly work, so this video was not that hard, otherwise. Core exercise is the real Key. Later I will go to Y to do my aerobics on Treadmill and Stationary Bike. Enjoying this challenge. It is different from the first one I did, and I find it more challenging, which is a good thing. diana emoticon

Akelaz - in these challenges, the next week becomes available according to when you joined but I don't think it will cause you to not receive the trophy. In other SparkPeople challenges, I've taken two weeks for a week challenge and I've still gotten the trophy at the end. I know this one is set up a little bit different since it is only for the month of May, but I don't think it is THAT much different.

I've been working out with my LO running around and falling on me and wanting to be held and.... :) It's been a challenge on top of this challenge! I'd love to be able to run a few times a week for my cardio but that is more of a scheduling issue for DH to be able to watch her while I run.

I've actually really really enjoyed this challenge. I accepted it because I've been wanting to introduce strength training into my workout for a while now and just haven't. I like plans and this was perfect for me. I feel the soreness every day and I am loving it! I can't wait to see how I feel after the month is done. I'm sure I will be keeping up with strength training after this because it really is a great start to my day!

Way to go, everyone! Keep it up. And if you're struggling, just do SOMETHING.

I joined this challenge because I was completely in the doldrums and need a emoticon
or even several!! Coach Nicole has done that for me. I'm doing OK altho the Day 5 Abs/Pilates was REALLY hard going but I got there. emoticon

I wonder if anyone knows what happens about a starting date. I joined on April 28th but didn't start till May 1st so I am on Day 5 Video but I notice today that Week Two is 'blacked' (as opposed to 'greyed') If I don't tick the box for Week 1 will it make a difference to getting the trophy - not the be all and end all but wonder what the process is.. . .?

Started on yesterday with 11 minutes on the elliptical, and some upper body toning with the dumbbells. Abductions for about 4 minutes, and whew, I'm feeling it this morning. Concluded with about 5 minutes on the leg press. I've been a member of my local gym for months and yesterday was my first time using the equipment, besides the elliptical and treadmill.

I feel great, I feel motivated and ready for the challenge!

I am using this challenge to push past a plateau in addition to my normal walking schedule of 3-4 miles a day. At this point I am doing a 10 min video every other day but it is a good start! I am looking forward to saying I have lost 50 pounds but currently have only lost 45 pounds since Sept. Feel free to visit my spark page.

I signed up and then I got sick. I'm better and I'm now using this challenge to move back into healthy activities. I might have to take it slow, but I'll get there!

This bootcamp is way harder than the old one!
Perhaps I feel that way because of the pilates and my lack of core strength
Oh well guess it will get better! emoticon

Challenge is going good so far. I'm on day four and doing anywhere from 20 to 50 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of toning. I have completed the water intake for the day. Looking forward to tomorrow.
