HOLY MOTHER OF GOD I'M OUT OF SHAPE!!!!! I'm so happy I decided to do this. This challenge is making me realise a whole bunch of stuff like...how out fo shape I am. And at the same time it's making me see how much I can do if I put my mind to it.

Yesterday I got on a stationary bike and went nuts for 30 minutes straight...that's NON-STOP people!!! ME!!!! I've never done that before....and I'm sorry to boast but I was so proud of myself.

Tonight is Curves and video 4 of the bootcamp....My motto today is GO 4 Gold!

If I can do this people....believe me when I say....you can ALL do this.

yay!! day 4! It feels great! I'm also keeping up with my Run/Walk 5K program. I love that! But I had a question. How many times are you all doing these videos? I do them 2 to 3 times. And then I add it to my tracker at the bottom of the page. I says that I got 2 sets out of that on the tracker. Is there another way that I can show I've done it with 3 sets??

Day 4 arms great! also did easa again am a bit sore from yesterdays thigh killers might need to rest but will judge tomorrow going swimming tonight. Yay! ( hope my swim suit fits) emoticon

Just getting started on Spark and joined the challenge to make a commitment. I am finding that it is very hard to keep that commitment with a very busy schedule. I am going to stick with the challenge and try to work in a few of the 10 minute workouts on my breaks. I just ran on the treadmill for lunch. I will eat while I work...

I had to do 2 videos today since I missed yesterday. 6 minute lower body workout, can't beat that!

But I did have a question about the crunchless core video. when trying to sit straight up, I feel pain more in my back than I do my abs. Am I doing something wrong?

I just got resistance bands and look forward to using them for today's video. Yesterday was hard to get workouts in since I had a dental appointment so did them but modified.

Just started yesterday on the challegenge I will be playing catchup - but I did day 3 this morning and will catch up tonight with the remaining video's. I also adding in a few other exercises but overall I loved the video! We leave for Hawaii on the 29th so this challenge is right on time. We are also doing Zumba every Tuesday at my church so I'm really hoping to tone up and lose 5 lbs ! Wish me Luck!

Day 4 video done (I substituted with a Coach Nicole dumbbell video since I don't have resistance bands). Really loving this challenge so far!!

I'll be honest...had to do a little catch up this morning, so I did Day 2, Day 3, and Day 4 video...and it was a little tough...especially that Day 2 ab video..I realized how weak my abs are!! But it feels so good to be caught up and now I'm sticking with it daily until Day 28! Going to treat myself to a nice bath and then zumba tonight :)

having trouble finishing DAY 1....i will try again tonight, hopefully i can finish and move on. any advice? i have not worked out in so long that i am exhausted just thinking about it. how long can i stay on week one of the bootcamp, does anyone know? should i quit? uuuggghhh!!!!!!!!!

Did day 4 video this morning, twice. I really like these video that they are only about 10mins, meaning I don't have to get up so early to workout, so I do the videos in the morning and cardio in the evening. Works great for me and I stepped on the scale this morning and lost 4 lbs since Sunday.

Just did day 3 video twice and I am definitely feeling it. I was able to get swimming in as my cardio yesterday. Hoping that it warms up a bit so I can get at least a 2 mile run in today. If not I think ill do jillians banish fat boost metabolism dvd for my cardio today.

Have been doing the videos daily and my cardio...just haven't checked in on the threads. One thing I HAVE to do today is measure so I can use measurements as a visual in addition to the scale moving downward!

great challenge but I am finding it a "challenge" as the workouts can not be printed out BUT i am using other workouts from coach nicole that are printable. no space in front of my computer to work out along with the video. have a wonderful day sparkers emoticon

Im on day three (i think maybe 4). I was about ready to give up on losing cuz i wasnt seeing any results but then i weighed myself and i lost 3 lbs and when i measured i lost about 2 inches off everything but my arms woohoo.

Have completed the workouts each day, just sort of slow about checking in on the board. I am also doing P90X modified and the workouts I have done so far are very similar to the P90X. Felling good!!!!

Just completed day 2 and 3. Will get day 4 in tomorrow with 5. Have had quite the busy week so far! Thankfully, it will taper off throughout the week.

Had a session with a personal trainer on Monday and BOY AM I FEELING IT!! Even 2 days later! Squats are the devil.

Cardio is next!

I have completed day 4 video. I even did it twice. I will do 30 min on the wii for some cardio today. I like to get it done in the morning but I have to clean house, dust, vacuum, dishes and all that fun stuff this morning and run some errands. Will get to my cardio this afternoon.

And for those who get a little behind, don't give up, just jump back in, remember, you're doing this for yourself!!!

I had time to do the video this morning, I LOVE doing it in the morning, I think I'm going to try to get up just a little earlier to do the video from now on and than do the cardio later... So I'll have to figure out what I'll do for cardio though... It's raining outside, and they're calling for rain all week, so I find it kind of hard to get motivated for the cardio. I think I'll Zumba (Wii). Catch you all later!

Just finished day four video. I don't have bands, but used two 8 lb weights to do the same kind of muscle workout. My goals for today are to go to my yoga class later. Finish some out door planting, if weather holds out. diana

Finished with day 4. Finally, a video I could do! I don't have a free-form resistance band, but I used the "stretchie" band that came with one of my walking dvds (not like I use that one anyways) and it worked great.

EsterJane: I saved the original bootcamp e-mail (Spring into shape). If you deleted it maybe you can get it out of "recently deleted". Scroll down the message in "Spring into shape" until you see "Get videos". Then scroll down that page untill you see a chart:
Day1, Day2 ect. You can still start with day 1. Hope this helps. There are other ways but this is how I do it.

I am doing the day1 vidio everyday since I could not finish anything longer. I modefied the moves a lot but I am getting better, starting to make the moves bigger and faster so I am encouraged. I also do the video of the day when I get home from work.

This is day 4 and I'm still pumped. Missed Monday, but will make it up Friday, if not before. I'm having computer issues at home, which is more challenging. My spin/tone class is canceled for 6 weeks due to some building repairs....I'm filling in with walking and bike riding, using my recumbent at home and my street bike.....we can do this!!

A tip for when you have trouble opening the videos- go to YouTube and search SparkPeople, then pick any Coach Nicole video that is working the correct section- abs, arms, legs. Most, if not all, of the videos are on YouTube. I have trouble in the early mornings when either a lot of people are trying to get them, or if SP is doing maintenance on the site.

Cardio has been a little low so far- 20 minutes Mon & Tues instead of 30, and nothing today- it's storming outside, and we are still putting our house back together after replacing floors, so not able to do cardio inside. BUT- my run on Saturday will be over 2.5 hours, so I'll have the total time+ for the week, so not worried.

Can I put a plea in for more focus on batwings?!!!!?? :) Triceps are so hard to see results in!

OK.. this is the end of day 2 for me.. Doing ok but I feel great. Eating more fruits and veggies which is something I never do.. Didnt exercise today because it was to hectic but will do my cardio and some strength exercises tomorrow. We'll c how that goes!! emoticon

So here it is late onTuesday night the 3rd of may. Unable to access the videos. Worked late, lots to do in the am. This is when I had some time and not able to open anything but teams. and a few other things. There are people who do not work and live 9a-5p. So I guess I will have to do 2-3 days of work in one day tomorrow. Just needed to vent a little.

I went over today too, but I also went "over" with my exercise so I feel good about that. I was a fruit/veggie short of that goal, but drank a ton of water! All in all I would say it was a successful day 3!

This evening I power walked 3 miles with the Leslie Sansone 5-Mile Walk videos, then the Days 1, 2, and 3 videos, then the final 2 miles of Leslie's videos. Intense!

I've been doing the walking videos for several weeks now, but jumping to Nicole was a kick in the but. Her steps are a good deal more complicated than Leslie's. For me the abs were very difficult. I don't have a strong back, and so it was hard. In the butt and thighs video I came to the realization that I can't grab my foot behind me. When did that happen? I used to be so flexible! Hopefully in the next few weeks that will change.

Just finished day 3 after 56 minutes of cardio. I feel great. However, I wonder if I will be sore in the morning. I have to wake up too early in the morning to workout before work so I try to take the stairs at work and get in multiple walks in the building. However, when I get home, I kick my workout into high gear to de-stress from the day. Looking forward to Day 4.

The videos are more challenging than I thought. I especially enjoyed the burn from the Day 2 Crunchless Video. No crunches, but my stomach felt it. I thought I would catch up with three videos this evening, but I only did two and will do Day 3 tomorrow morning before work and Day 4 after work. I get lots of cardio, but i'm excited about challenging my body with the different videos.

I watched the video and I knew it was a bit too much for me so I searched the videos and found the New Me vdieo that worked the same muscles. I was actually able to do the whole thing. I also got my 30 minutes of cardio in. emoticon emoticon emoticon

Jodi, if you scroll down to the bottom of the page, there is a button that says add to fitness tracker. Click on it and a window pops up which says: " Are you sure you want to add this video workout to your fitness tracker? Click the link below to add the workout, click the "Close" to cancel." Beneath that is a link that says "Add these exercises to your fitness tracker".
When you click on it, it adds the exercises to your strength training for the day.

Im doing pretty good just started the challenge today and hoping to catch up with all the videos tomorrow, Im really excited so many ppl are doing so good and getting into it. Coach Nicole is real interesting in her videos so I will have to wait and see what kinda relationship we build through them. but thank you for being so good to peopl if your out there listening. Did Day 2 and 3 videos today, and a Bikram yoga class (holy cow, Bikram is HARD!)
Love the videos and the convenience of doing them at home, in ten minutes!

I need to leave this challenge- I can not do the exercises.. I do my cardio everyday and ST everyday too.. with the videos.. but the videos here I can't do...

Did the abs yesterday and thought they were pretty easy. Today my abs are wanting to know what I did to them yesterday lol. I am glad the videos tell how to make them simpler. The lunges were hard on my knees.
