I really liked day 2, it's so much better than endless sit ups. Since no move is really long I could manage to get through them realtively easily. My goal is to find a larger room to do these in!!

Did day 2 though I struggled a bit in the middle. But I enjoyed it! I'll go through it again when I'm more rested - in a few hours! I loved the way my body came alive after it! I'm really motivated to continue. Hope you all enjoyed it too!

I work weekends - Mondays are a big challenge for me. I am so tired, and don't really run at my best. Oh well, I do it anyway. Tomorrow is another day, and I will be more rested. And I took a nap today!

Well, today is actually my day 1---I know, I know, I am behind. I did a video that was only supposed to be for 10 minutes, and it turned out to be 30! Tomorrow I am doing a video that I know for sure is 10 minutes.

Day 2, I made it. It wasn't as bad as I thought. These 10min videos are great for just getting back into exercising (after a long break) and to fit into my busy schedule. Now, I have no excuse. Overall, I had to add the Crunchless Abs to my favs. So far, so good!!!

Just finished Day 1! It felt really good. I'm excited to get back into exercising! My goals this week are to complete each of the daily videos and walk for 10-30 minutes a day. Nothing too difficult since I need to be careful that I don't re-strain my back.

Just finished the day two video. I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to do it today because I have been having a lot of lower back pain but to be honest it actually helped. I know that strong abs improves back pain and posture I'm just usually too lazy to do it. Today was confirmation how important it is to do the ab work.

My goal this week is to give some EXTRA focus to fitness. I will be on a mini vacation this weekend, so I want to set myself to understand that working out every morning is still a vacation requirement. Another goal this week is not to get back up to 150 over my weekend vacation. Very limited salt, no alcohol this week!

Hi all; My first week of this challenge has gone really well. I started this challenge to help me with my strength training and to hopefully make it a part of my normal everyday routine.

I'm really enjoying this challenge. Truly enjoy the video workouts.

I am a little late starting this challenge - and wasn't sure I was gonna since I workout at the gym 5 days a week... but then I figured - why not?

My challenge goals are the same goals I have for the gym:

In October 2011, I will be walking my daughter across the gym floor to celebrate Senior Night during the last home volleyball game. When I do, I want to go out there as a confident, strong woman and not the unconfident, wishing this was over woman I am now.

I have a graduation party and a vaca to San Diego CA coming up on June 5th. I bought a beautiful dress in a size 14 a few weeks ago. Some of my others weight loss friends talked me into taking it back and getting a size 12 . So I now have exactly 1 month to try and get my butt into that dress.

Hey all! I am excited to have joined a challenge because I feel like this is just what I needed to get back on track! I fully intend to give this challenge my best efforts and perhaps look into joining other monthly challenge teams.

This week my goal is to lose 2-3 lbs, push myself in my workouts (incorporate more strength training and up my speed on the treadmill), blog at least 2x times, and track all my fitness/nutrition/water.

This month, my goal is to be active as possible in this challenge, increase my running time by at least 1 minute and to lose 8-10 lbs!

Just finished DAY 2, i am thinking i didn't do something right, because i didn't feel it in my abs all that much, but the tops of my thighs sure did burn. Maybe my abs will tell me all about it tomorrow when the muscles can break through all the fluff around them and send my brain the message. GOOD GOING EVERYONE.

My goal is to actually exercise and not just think about it. For the first time in a while, I played my old stand by. That is the basic step CD with Cathe Friedman. I didn't use a stepper so it was below low impact. It hurt due to arthritis in my hips but I didn't let that stop me. I've done it very often so it was like riding a bike. When I was done, I gave myself a big pat on the back.

I finished day 2. Got a late start because life interfered, but find one can if one is determined. (will tell you for sure in 4 weeks) I have had sciatica and that is one bummer. But not today. Did the video, walked 2 mi (but only at a 30 min mile pace) one before dinner and one after...and this afternoon danced to a Latin dance tape for only 10 min. But believe me I am tired.

Hi LVSMMONK,
You have to create a spark page for the weight loss ticker to appear in your posts.
While you're editing your page you'll see the space to choose ticker backgrounds and set starting weight etc.,

good luck!
Jess

Edit: don't know why I typed ticket - meant ticker...

I finished the Day 2 video w/Coach Nicole, but was unable to do one of the exercises due to lower back pain and siatica. I did my best though to keep up with her. Whew! I still have to complete my 30 min or more of cardio. I just got an aerobic step and workout DVDs...think I will do that. I've been anxious to get started with aerobic stepping. I wish Coach Nicole would make an aerobic stepping video (not a bunch of dance steps, but a real stepping workout) for us. Wouldn't that be fun!

I am in day 4, getting ready to go to the video now!

You guys are right, day 2 was a bit tough, but you are working on some Abs of Steel..
I rather enjoyed it, I like the burn and the pain the day after, lets me know I hitting some muscles that need worked.

I am going to repeat Days 1 and 2 Friday and Saturday this week, that way I can go to Week 2 and be with members of my other teams that are doing this challenge together!

Have a great workout everyone!

CHANIGGIE1, I'm not an expert but the 3500 calories for a pound can be either burned off through exercise, lowering the calories in the diet or a combination of the two. In your case I think that 1200 calories a day is going to be too low and may lead to plateaus and your body going into hibernation mode.

You can calculate the number of calories you need to eat to lose weight with how many calories you are burning. On the start page go into the Goals & Progress, change fitness goals. Enter the number of calories you plan to burn per week and save changes. Then either go to your nutrition page or back to the start page and see what the recommended calorie range is.

Good luck!

Whew! Just finished Day 2 exercises, that just wore me out! I did enjoy the kickboxing video yesterday! I joined this Bootcamp to get that extra 10 minutes or so of exercise every day. On days I don't feel like exercising, it makes me! Then, I'm energized and do more.

yes i just finished the video for day 6. I started on the 27th which was when I got the email.

I know at the time there were many people discussing starting then. You'll find my first message for 4/27 on page 10 here. there were already 3 pages of people excited about this by the time I showed up. We had the option of starting then or waiting till the first.

I just desperately need to start exercising and this is doing it for me, So thanks coach and team. Oh I also want the trophy and need to give myself the edge in case I screw up.

It is more important to know where you are going than to get there quickly, Do not mistake activity for achievement (Mabel Newcomer)

The saddest thing of all my friend, what might have been.

I am not in this world to live up to your expectations or you to mine.

Lead, follow or get out of the way, but do SOMETHING!
