Shannon...it depends on what other event you have coming up between now and then!!! If you want I can send you the training plan I devised for myself and we can work to modify it to fit your training!!! Doing 13.1 is a good starting point but I know for me, once I got my mileage over 15-16 miles it was very different in terms of recovery...I noticed another change once I got over 18 miles in training!!! You need to have a plan that is flexible enough to account for injuries or extra rest days as well as firm enough to make sure you are getting good training for the distance!!!

I've done the 1/2, the full and the bike tour!!! Not sure which I'm going to do this year...most likely the biike tour again so I can be on the course supporting the marathoners!!! Hopefully, you will be one of them Shannon!!!
