Well, thank you KEEP-GOING! I appreciate that so much!

Yesterday regardless of the heat I did things at intervals. I still didn't quite accomplish everything because I just ran out of steam because of the humidity. I did, however, get all the flowerbeds weeded and the garden cleaned out, the lawns cut, trees pruned, and everything watered.
So sufficient physical exercise for sure. Even with intervals I still managed at least four hours of activity.

Yep I hear ya about when I get home, well I home now. Have church tomorrow working with the children.

After my drive I cleaned our big living room floor with a light vacuum ,it is a wood floor and I buff over it with swiffer but feel like dirt still gets in cracks so I bought a light Bissel.
Then our ceiling fans in here were a little dusty so I cleaned them realizing I should have done it the other way around! HA.

I am happy you are faithful to your arm work. I would like to work more weight type exercise in also just doing minor weights at times so I haven't mentioned it.

I am so glad I am sticking with your team. It may not have many participating but I am thankful for you also I am accountable in a couple places on it. It is not too much for me. Other teams it would seem at times I would get overwhelmed with soo much to check into.

Well, today is going to be a very active one for me with not just my regular Saturday cleaning but I'm also doing a pitch and toss and reorganizing.
None the less I still did my band and wonder arms; 75 of each.

You know what, when there is a lot going on it's difficult to remain focused. Just do your best with diet and whatever activity you can do and once your home hopefully you'll be more organized, back into a routine and be able to focus much better.

I had to forfeit my afternoon walk to and from work With these heat and humidity levels I didn't need to fall over from heat exhaustion! It's that hot 31C in the shade!

Wednesday 25th warm up and cool down, 1 mile with Leslie Sansone

Already this morning, up at my usual time and out the door. Manually moved 15 4 x 8 sheets of lattice from the driveway to the back of the house 2 at a time. `8 trips took me 20 minutes. With that physical exercise, I don't need to do my stepper or my wonder arms this morning.
Still, need to do my rubber band for my back yet.

Yeah well, I did walk to work and back home again at noon but ended up taking the car back in the afternoon because I had to take Walt his lunch. He was on a service call and couldn't get home for lunch. So what I did was as soon as I got home I got the lawnmower out and cut all the grass. So it more than made up for it.

Not sure if I can do 7 days. I have been through some illness that took my strength the past month. I did let go of some weight through it. Not a good way to tho.

Monday 23rd cleaning house about 3 hrs. mopping, moving chairs to clean under, crawling on floor to clean under couch. Man what a job!

Tuesday 24th Thirty minutes recumbent bike.

Already this morning I've worked out with my Wonderarm toner and walked the stairs twice from the cabin down to the river. Then had my fruit and veggie protein breakfast! Feeling fantastic!!!!!

Usually do 30 min on the treadmill. In May I started doing 30 sec faster speed and 2 min slower speed for the time. Today, I did 90 sec faster speed and 2 min slower speed. I want to work up to true HIIT intervals.

I still continue walking to work every day. So far that's turned out to be 4 days out of 5 and only because the one day has been too cold damp and raining. Need to get me an umbrella!

Yesterday - Still up at the crack of dawn,
I have the laundry started, and the kitchen cleaned up from the night before, showered and headed out the door to Stettler for groceries and was back before lunch.
Unloaded the groceries got the perishables put away, and headed for the greenhouse for my hanging baskets, tomato plants and strawberries and potting earth.
Took me all of a half hour. Back to the house, made breakfast and headed out the door! The next four hours I took apart the winter shelter I had made for the cats without homes, put everything away for next winter, dug, raked and turned over the earth in the flowerbeds and garden, filled my planters with the potting soil, and planted tulips, lilies, crocus and strawberries.
Now I've done 3 loads of laundry, had a hot shower, BBQued Walt 2 burgers and I'm having a sweet kale salad with tomatoes, red onion, nuts and seeds.
If the weather is as nice tomorrow as it was today I should be able to finish up my weekend cleaning and get my potatoes planted too!
As you can see I've stepped up my physical activity!

Well, I did it! I've started walking to and from work as much as the weather will allow.
Day 1 - morning to work, 15 minutes
-walked back to work after lunch-30 minutes and now home after work 15 minutes.
One full hour today!

My routine starts at 5 every morning. This the best time for me because i work full time 5 sometimes 7 days a week.
So at least 5 days out of the seven I do a 10 minute walk on my stepper and 3 sets of 15 reps for toning.
Haven't missed a beat all this week.

I did ok for the first day I did 15-minute walk, 30 min chair workout, cleaned my house some, and worked in the garden. all in all I'm happy with what I did

today, back to the treadmill. I did vary the walk, though, by increasing the incline twice during the 30 minutes--at the 25 minute and at the 20 minute marks. At the 5 minute mark I lowered it once, so I finished strong.

For me I'm working up to the 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes in the evening so as to get in my 10,000 steps a day. This my goal I'm almost there.

I went browsing on our local buy and sell and found an apartment sized stepper for 15.00! Picked it up yesterday! Have already been on it last night and this morning.

Did you resolve to get healthy in 2018/19? Sure you have. We all have or we wouldn't be here....yet again, still.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have that promise finally fulfilled and ensure that we never have to do this all over again?
By working together we can help each other meet those life-enhancing goals.

If we resolve to do anything this year let's resolve to achieve our goals. In sharing our journey we can make this the year every one of us overcome troubling food habits and transforms our health.

Starting January 9 those that choose to participate will opt in and post their exercise; what they did and for what length of time. Then once a week from there on in

This year each of us myself included, who are seriously dead set with the dedicated commitment to turning their lives around 360 degrees, making those life-changing choices in lifestyle, health and diet and finally wanting, needing to reach that ultimate goal...those are the people that will be here.

If like me your best exercise is walking...

Aim for a brisk walk of 30 to 90 minutes most days of the week for weight loss. You can walk more on some days and less on others, but the total time for the week should be at least 150 minutes (2.5 hours).

You should walk fast enough that you are in the moderate-intensity exercise zone at 60 to 70 percent of your maximum heart rate. You should be breathing harder than usual and can speak in full sentences, but you couldn't sing. You can use your heart rate and exercise zone reading from a fitness band, app, or heart rate monitor to ensure you are exercising at a moderate intensity.

While you can break up your walking time into periods of 10 minutes or longer, you get an added benefit of burning fat when you walk at a brisk pace for longer than 30 minutes at a time after warming up.

If you're new to walking, get started with shorter periods of walking and steadily build up your walking time. You might want to take longer walks every other day at first.

Try not to skip more than one day in a row. Consistency is good for burning calories and improving your metabolism, as well as for building new habits.

On your non-walking days, try strength training exercises. If you find yourself worn out, take a day off. But be sure to get back walking the following day.

If you've hit your weight loss goal and are working on maintaining your weight, the CDC recommends you should spend 60 to 90 minutes most days of the week in moderate-intensity physical activity while not eating more calories than you expend all day.
