1 medium banana
1/2 c at free Greek yogurt: Pomegranate/raspberry
blended with 2 TBSP ground psyllium husks

Lunch
Leafy Green Salad

1 romaine heart finely chopped
1 bunch baby spinach finely chopped
4 whole mushrooms chopped
1/4c red onion finely chopped
1 ounce organic pumpkin seeds
1 medium tomato diced
1 mini cucumber chopped
1 ounce shredded Swiss cheese

Dinner
4 oz steamed Basa
sauteed onions, mushrooms
seasoned with dill and garlic pepper

Have started today well again however just with a piece of toast with jam.....
I really enjoyed it and won't eat again now until lunch and I felt so good yesterday I want to keep that feeling so will follow what yesterday ended up being....lol

Thanks Lynn. I eat this way pretty much 6 days a week and then Sunday is my change it up day.
It's my day to indulge but not over eat. Tomorrow is my 10% day I'm having my 4 ounces of roast beef with whipped potatoes and a touch of gravy with a steamed vegetable and a small dessert.
But come Monday morning it's right back to my 90% of fruits and vegetables and complex carbs.
It's what I've done for the past 18 months Lynn. It works.
now today I came across an e-mail from Dr Oz introducing The Shred Diet. I've taken a look at it and find it's something I may be able to incorporate into what I'm already doing. And because it a change from what I'm doing it should cause my body to respond positively.
It's a cycle lifestyle So one go around; one six week cycle and it should be enough to give my body that last OOMPH into those last 50 pounds I need to light shuck of.

An 18 day fast Lyn Seriously? I've always been told not to fast for more than 3 days. What does that all involve girl?

And the last time I did it it was a 3 day juice detox. That's as far as this girl goes I'm afraid.

Everyone wants immediate results but what are you willing to do to resolve yourself to in order to obtain it?
Every new years we start out with resolve and good intentions, even great expectations, but when we don't see the results we want as soon as what we think we should we give up and quit in discouragement and feeling like a failure.
Well it's time to take the weightloss industry and kick it t the curb so to speak.
No more temporary short term solutions; lose the weight, regain and have to start again trying another temporary short term solution. It becomes a vicious cycle.

This first month's challenge is to start Eating To Live for the rest of our lives for the highest successful results; especially for the first four to six weeks and watch the results! We can lose anywhere up to 20 pounds with this!

Who's in?

Daily calorie limit 1200-1550

Which should be: fruits; 3 servings a day: 1 cup of berries with the highest antioxidant levels, examples blackberries, blueberries, Acia, Pomegranate, along with two other fruits
Chose from
bananas
apples
oranges
pears
peaches
pineapple
red grapes
green grapes
cherries
plums
to name but a few

Vegetables; 5 servings a day made up of GBOMBS: Leafy greens,Romaine lettuce. baby spinach, broccoli, brussel sprouts, kale, etc black beans:1/2 cup, red onions, 2-3 large mushrooms, seeds and nuts 1 ounce a day At least 1 tbsp: hemp, chia or ground flax included in with that.

Hint; Create 1 huge salad a day: Salad is the main dish.
1 Large (double size serving) steamed dark green vegetable
