And the renos continue because I'm going to transform my entire house this year and right now is the time to by paint paper etc because the winter sales are all on! So over the next two weeks this place is getting a royal decluttering and scrubbing from one end to the other and the the painting and reflooring begins!
I finished my day at the paper I should say morning and then after I'd run my errands, dealt with lawyers, and got Walt his lunch and back to work then Joyce and I had our shrimp vegetable stir fry and then I hit this place with a vengeance! The main entrance got a overhaul; ceiling, walls, windows and floors were washed down and polished.
Then the inner entrance/laundry room was next. Everything was taken out ceiling, walls, washed down. Then I started putting things back into place but rearranged everything so that it was more roomy and airy. My broom closet was cleaned out and scrubbed down and reorganized. I just have the floors to wash. After that I'm going to do up my dishes tidy up the kitchen and call it a day! Tomorrow is another day at the paper and Thursday is grocery day so will be out of town. Friday the kitchen is under construction So I've really been burning up the calories!

TODAY Is MY tomorrow. It's up to ME to shape it, To TAKE CONTROL and seize EVERY opportunity. The POWER is in the choices I make EVERY day. I eat well, I live well I SHAPE ME!

Good morning everyone. I was off walking to find parts for our toilet this morning. I hose wore out and it started leaking. So I did some walking around stores to find the part. Not much walking but walking. About 15 or 20min.

I will too LADY Now that I have my satellite receiver replaced and have the DVD hooked up in the master bedroom I can go ahead and do that when Joyce wants to use the XBOX to do her workout in the living room

So starting Monday morning I will do my XBOX Virtual smash for 30 minutes then follow it up with Leslie Sansone's Walk Off The Pounds
Today even though I wasn't home I did speed walking around Stettler whatever parking lot or store I was in Joyce was having a difficult time keeping up with me! LOL

I will hunt down my Sansone Walking DVD and start slow(1mile), then my regular Wall Push Ups, and what I call Arm Chair Crunches.

Well next week the only thing I will change is my cardio I'll be keeping Virtual Smash However in two weeks time I actually have a piece of simple exercise equipment coming that works both upper and lower body It's reversible cycle I can sit and cycle with my feet and then reverse it and sit and cycle with my arms. Very unique. Got it for Joyce mostly for evenings and week ends so she can continue her exercising in her room while Walt and I spend time in the family room. Was less than 100 dollars and it's coming by post. SO yeah some assembly required LOL
Then whe she does go home it stays and she will order herself another.
What I'd really like to have is the latest machine that combines a climber treadmill and eliptical! But it's far too expensive and we don't have the room GRRRRR

I will continue with my walking as I really enjoy that.....
I am considering joining the Uni gym but thtas something I need to process slowly as my experiences of gyms has not been all that great to date

How about if we were to Tweak Our Fitness Goals?

We know that goals are good—they're what get us through those grueling strength training workouts and cardio sessions. But a goal that is weight specific ("I want to lose 10 pounds this month") just like yo yo dieting it too often leads to a pattern of yo-yo exercising. "Here's the thing. It's consistent exercisers who see working out as part of their lifestyle, rather than as a temporary way to change their appearance, have the most success keeping weight off,"

So let's start Changing It Up!
How many of us go on kicks—I'm going to start running! I'm all about Yoga!—and do nothing but that one activity until boredom lands us back on the sofa, where we stay until a new fitness trend piques our interest? So, instead of having an exclusive, short-term relationship with just one activity, let's rotate our workouts. I think a One-Week Turnaround would work very well and show us how!

But instead of Plowing full steam ahead let's ease into It

When we're pumped about a new fitness routine or we have a short amount of time to get in shape for that special occasion, we are all gung ho and driven to work out hard seven days a week. But being too gung ho from the get-go always ends up backfiring, that in all probability can lead to injuries and burnout. The One-Week Turnaround is going to help avoid getting sidelined by taking it slow, by gradually increasing exercise volume and intensity.

So what cardio or strength training routines will you choose for this week?

Starting tomorrow I will do Leslie Sanone's Walk it out for my cardio
and then XBOX Virtual Smash for my upper body toning
