Week 4 of the Challenge!

What an amazing team we are. There are so many successes and support for one another.
Hurray! emoticon emoticon During the first 3 weeks we explored the islands of the state of Hawaii, and then took a well deserved cruise to Tahiti with the 9,000+ miles we earned through achieving our goals. Well done team!

The purpose of this challenge continues to be developing healthier eating, exercising and lifestyle habits. If there are changes that can be made to the challenge to better support this, please let me know. emoticon

Important: This thread is only for tracking our points/miles. Please ask questions, chat, give/ask for support on the other Aloha Challenge threads.

This week we’ll be focusing on our goals for our healthy lifestyle. We can share our goals with team members, or keep them private. Think about what you want to achieve, and then develop a road map on how to get there. Probably you have already done this, and if so, continue with that goal. Perhaps you want to reassess your goal(s) or make new ones.

The exercise goal continues to remain constant throughout the challenge. The additional lifestyle goals during week 4 will focus on eating at least 5 servings of vegetables and fruits (at least 5 servings combined, not 5 servings of each), making and achieving your own chosen goal(s). We’ll continue with sharing our non-scale victories (I enjoy reading about the successes!).

During week 4, April 10 – April 16, we will add the miles up in the following ways:

~~ Every minute of exercise = 1 mile (i.e. 30 minutes= 30 miles) Maximum of 120 per day.
~~ Eating a total of at least 5 servings of vegetables and fruits (at least 5 servings combined, not 5 servings of each) = 10 miles (all or nothing)
~~ Achieving your own personal goal(s)=10 miles (all or nothing)
~~ Bonus Points: Non-scale Victory (NSV) – 5 miles

~ Once a week you can use your Spark People spin for exercise points, 20 points maximum. If you spin Goodie Points, you can claim up to 20 pts. emoticon

Each day be sure to check in, add your miles to the tally, Rachelle will continue to be sure our math is accurate, award badges etc, and I will plot our progress.
