Love oatmeal. Add cinnamon, flaxseed meal, and blueberries. Add splenda also, not enough sweetness in the blueberries for me.

I eat oatmeal occasionally but am also taking Flush-Free Niacin and Fish Oil to try to lower my cholesterol because I am allergic to Statin medications.

Have a good day everyone.

I try and eat baked oatmeal with peaches and blueberries and almonds every morning for breakfast, but then I was told it has a lot of carbs which I need to watch because of Type 2 diabetes. Still love my oatmeal

Yes--I have it for breakfast at least two or three times a week.
I also make oatmeal raisin cookies (with applesauce not oil) and put it in the food processor to make flour out of it, This flour I add to my pancake mix.

I dislike oatmeal, but I know it can help lower cholesterol. My mom started using it in a breakfast drink. She has lowered her cholesterol by 30 points. My doctor has just put me on a satin drug to help lower mine. I dislike that too. I have started adding oatmeal to my breakfast as well as trying to hide it in some other foods that I cook. So far family have not commented on the oatmeal. I'll keep my fingers crossed that these measures will help.

Sometimes, not as much as I should. I actually gain weight easily and have to limit it on my Dr.'s calorie restricted diet.

Hello, members. I have a bowl of oatmeal every morning for breakfast. I put in a full cup of Quaker Oats quick oats (cooks in 1 minute type), a full cup of water and then stir in a tablespoon of blackstrap molasses (loaded with potassium). I then microwave for 90 seconds. I also have a 16oz glass of Tropicana orange juice (lots of pulp) and 16oz glass of Ocean Spray blueberry/promogranate juice. I also take all my vitamin and mineral supplements. Two of these supplements are CoQ10 and Red Yeast Rice.
Hope this helps answer some questions about oat meal.

I eat it at least 5 times a week. I love it with purple grapes (cut them in half before adding them) - Yummy! I've even got my 10 year olds eating it this way. They think it tastes like candy :) - Whatever works!
