i woke up around 5 and heard water running. apparently our toilet is not sealing well so it has a small drip so the water was slowly running. the water pump was running once in a while so it was hard to fall back asleep. so i slept in too long.

i downloaded a new game and i was playing with that for too long last night. by the time i quit it was later then i wanted - both times. i notice bags under my eyes after i showered but i did not focus on getting to bed.

i wanted to nap yesterday but didnt. i stayed busy with a few tasks, i got some tasks done. but by nighttime i was mentally energized so i stayed up longer nad red some of my book. my hubby had not been sleeping well so he has bee crabby. i think he is getting sick. hopefully i can get him to bed early tonight and i can sleep more too

i was active this weekend so by last night i was tired. i should have gone to bed 20 minutes earlier but i woke up before i planned to go to bed. so i did some reading then i got sleepy. i struggle to get focused when sleepy so earlier at night i zone out watching tv or youtube.

i still spend too much on the computer late at night. i have started reading more at night and that does help me relax. i lose focus and forget the smaller tasks i want to finish. i do sleep well once asleep, at least most nights

turn off the pc earlier last night and read in my book for awhile. i was sleepy during the night and i zoned out at my computer. i slept pretty well and woke up a couple minutes before my alarm went off. worked a 10 hour day so that was a bit long but other wise not too sleepy today.

i feel asleep quick enough but then woke up about 230 feeling very stiff. my huppy also woke up with a back cramps. i started getting agitated about being awake, i finally sat up and did some neck and shoulder stretches, i am not sure if i missed hearing my alarm this morning or i hit the snooze too quickly and forgot, that rarely happens. so i was mentally off today. my mood improved later in the day.

sleepy today. back to work. i was going to nap when i got home but i kept thinking of all the crap i could get done. i was a bit annoyed. i got some stuff done but then was sleepy afterward. my dh was crabby so we did not cook supper,. i had items in the fridge prepped as a back up so i made a chicken wrap. i zoned a bit but then i did some exercise,

i had today off so i did not go to bed early last night. it ws just before midnight . i napped well earlier so i did not worry about it. maybe i should have but i was able to sleep in today and get plenty of sleep. the rest of the week may not go as well. but for now i got in my sleep.

my mom went to the emergency room yesterday and the hospital wanted to keep her overnight. so last night i visited her then was hungry and ate late. i then ad the mucnchies late at night, i ended up getting in a short workotu at 930 instead of showering at that time. so i was doing everything later then normal last night and i was not tired at bedtime and it took me a while to fall asleep. - drat

i slept in yesterday and it was wonderful. i got up and did some cleaning then went to lunch. i came home and was tired and wanted to nap. instead i did some light cleaning. then i putzed a bit before getting in a cardio workout. i was ready for bed at the time i wanted. i slept pretty well i woke up a bit iffy but once i started thinking about sunday, i felt much happier and more energetic

getting enough sleep is the biggest hurdle to my healthy living goal. i get tired but dont always want to go to bed. my brain always finds activities and then i get distracted and lose track of time. i am still doing 10 hour days at work for our mandetory overtime. but at least they reduced it in half so maybe i can relax better so my mind get ready for bed.

i came up with a new idea of waht to add to my bedtime routine. i attempted and failed before but i think if i try again, and work on it i think i can get myself sleeping better at night.this week i was off my normal schedule so i was awake later at night. next week my schedule will be off as well.

i have not been good at going to bed on time the last few nights. my brain has been turning on and so i am not tired at bedtime.its been crazy, mandetory overtime at work, getting used to intermediates, family drama and this mornings shocker, the death of my cousin. he died in an accident so it was sudden and shocking.

When I want to be good, I have been known to set timers and alarms to keep me on track. I actually set a timer to quit the electronics and one to put the book down and lights off.

I had too much tea and was wide awake till 3 am a couple nights and then I got up at 4:45 am to take my daughter to airport. Came home and slept another four hours. I got 10 hours in last night. Think I am almost caught up.

I haven't been good at keeping up with my journal. friday night i was up to late. i mentally zoned out and stayed on my computer watching stupid videos. then i zoned out i finally started to go to bed at about 1 am. i should have shut off the screens and did some light breathing to see if that would have but me to sleep easier

Journaling usually soothes me, but I have had a crazy idea or a story line pop into my head and have been known to write till 3am. So yes. it can be problematic.

journaling at night goes both ways for me. sometimes it helps, other times it wakes up my brain and works me up. i do want to still journal more about some of my goals so i can find out what is interfering with me reaching my goals.

a main goal for me is to get more sleep. i dont have time to nap as much because we have had mandetory ot for 3 weeks, so working 10 hour days and then trying to keep up with exercise and cooking meals and my meal prep with my new hopeully temporary chewing limitations. i used to aim for 1130 bnut iw as close to midnight a lot as a bedtime so i moved ti up to 11. for a week and a half i only reached the goal 2 times. although i am generally in bed before 1130
