ok...I guess I should have started out with..yes we went to the dr. over this problem...more than once like I said it's been going on for some time...some times the pain is worse than others...the dr. just supplies her with pain meds. that just mask the prob. it's back every night...a constant pain..she has been to a rehab...which seemed to work well when she was getting the treatments for deep muscle trauma..but after the insurance quit paying for treatments the pain just came right back....I read your answers...will tell her to goto a pain specialist...maybe they can help her better than the foot specialist did for me looked at my foot and said" not much I can do for your pain...three wk wait and two hrs in the waiting room for that answer..I was quite upset..but it pushed me to search for more answers for foot pain...and I found one that worked for me...hasn't been back since....I cant feel her pain but if I could I would so that I could help her better to deal with her pain.....thanks for your great ideas....rico

My daughter and grand daughter have the same problem. It appears that a lot of people have the nighttime problem because the makers pain meds are now adding sleep aids to their nighttime pain medicine. You should take her to a pain specialist; however, in the meantime, you may want to have her sleep in a Big-Boy type of chair. Best of luck and prayers to both of you.
