i have been trying to get my computer off and read from a book before bed. it has helped my brain settle down. it helps, but i still need to work on doing this earlier. i am still zoning out at night. but i am doing a little better

i learned how much i tend to sabatoge my sleeping habits.. i mess around on my computer to much at night and don't stay focused early enough to get my stuff ready for bed

I learned to do meditative breathing when I can't sleep due to stress and it really works. Chamomile tea helps me and consistent sleep times too. I feel great and I've officially gotten into the 7-8 hour nightclub!

That I am correct in why I can not sleep & need to act on it. I have clots in both lungs that cause constant pain & it was too hot all summer, now it has been cooler for 4 days & I do not want to take anything for pain to mask the problems when I see a specialist on lungs in 2 months. I need to know how I am feeling in my lungs & breathing without masking it. I also know I need to set a nighttime routine 7 days a week.

emoticon I learned even after 41 pretty awesome night's sleep, for no reason at all you can get surprised with a bad night. Planning to go to bed early tonight and get extra relaxed!

It does take discipline. Now that i have been sleeping ok for a bit, i am starting to push my lights out time by a little now and then. I have to remember that adding more than a half hour in any direction, really screws up my sleep. It was terrible. I do not want that.

It takes discipline to give myself the gift of at least 7 hrs sleep at night. I sleep better with no alcohol, no murder-violence-hate-filled shows before bed. My family likes them, so I pop in earplugs the last hr before bed as I do my evening routine. I start my evening routine at 9:15 to get to bed by 10.

I sleep better, when I showed and read, relax before going to bed. Friday nite a glass of wine because I earned it.

I learned this many years ago. I find that I sleep better when I am actually sleepy when I go to bed. This gives me between 6 to 7 hours a night

I learned that i do not need as much sleep as i thought. I also learned i was giving myself too many hours trying to sleep. I woke in the early morning because i was getting to bed too early. Now that i go to bed later, i can sleep until my desird wake up time and because my sleep cycles are not interrupted, i feel more alert.
