When I travel, I try to adjust to the new time by sticking to bed early, up early--within reason.

I've heard that drinking plenty of water helps.

My only experience with jet-lag was due to a vacation so the effects were gone in a few days. I am not sure how many times zones you have changed but for the short periods I would take a brief nap of only 30 minutes with an alarm but then get up and get moving again. I also find the more time I spend outside the easier it is for my body to adjust to the day and night for my location.
I am so glad you continue to keep the sleep journal emoticon

I successfully completed this challenge 7 months ago. I find keeping a sleep journal still so very, very helpful. My sleep has been so much improved. I have recently changed time zones and I am undergoing some serious jet-lag. Arrgh! This time reminds me of the bad old days. Does anyone have any tips for contending with jet-lag and making this transition time shorter and smoother? Thanks.
