I am going to keep my daily goal to 27,000 steps per day and keep my weekly goal to 200,000. Due to FitBit.com not having access to the original dashboard I will now be tracking my Active Minutes. My goal is to keep it above 150 minutes per day. I will also be tracking my mileage and my goal is to walk 12 miles per day. I will also be tracking my floors climbed but as I don't really encounter many steps in my travel I will be interested in seeing how high I can get this number on a daily basis. Keep moving people, I know I will! DON'T GIVE UP!!!

We are still #1 in the Computer & Electronics category?! That continues to be amazing! As of the posting of this post, we are now at (drum roll please!) 93,231 members strong! That is 626 more than last week! That is a decrease of 60 members from last week!!! Thanks to the holiday season our numbers have continued to explode this past week and I anticipate that our numbers will continue to rise for the next several weeks. We have poked our head through the 92,000 level and now have the 93,000 levels within our sights!!! Fantastic!

In America, today is Super Bowl Sunday. Like most, I was concerned with how to approach this food-heavy day. While the temptations are heavy, I find that it is helpful to give in to these temptations but do so with a plan in mind. That plan involves controlling portions of these temptations. Drink plenty of water and enjoy the company you are with. It does not to revolve around food but instead focus on the person(s) you are sharing this event with. It seems like too simple a plan but I find that it has saved me countless times in the past. Enjoy the company and savor the foods.

What to do the day after? Some of us will overeat on Super Bowl Sunday but that doesn't mean you have failed. Rather you have merely fallen, now just need to get back up, and move forward. Make it a habit to react in this manner and soon you will be back on track. Here is an excellent article about binge eating but the important information is at the end of the article when it discusses how to recover from a binge. Good reading.

One more week in the books! This past week I took a grand total of 184,095 steps for a daily step average of 26,299 steps. I was active for 918 minutes or an average of 131 Active Minutes per day. I traveled 87.34 miles or 12.48 miles on average per day and I climbed a grand total of 26 floors. Not an awesome but not then not a bad week. How did you do this past week?
