I broke my ONE last week. I had to replace it with an Alta since the One wasn't available in any store I looked. So far I'm happy with my choice. I'm keeping my same goals: 12,000 minimum steps per day and shooting for 100,000 total for the week.

This past week I did the following: 56,584 steps (avg. of 8,083 steps/day); 150 floors (avg. 21 fls./day); 437 active minutes (avg. 62 active mins./day). For this week I would like to hit 65,000 steps; 160 floors; 450 active minutes. Going to track mileage too. Goal is going to be 42 miles.

12/18: 7,557 steps; 17 floors; 44 active minutes; 3.1 miles
12/19: 6,555 steps; 9 floors; 34 active minutes; 2.69 miles
12/20: 7,330 steps, 16 floors; 84 active minutes; 3.19 miles
12/21: 5,247 steps; 14 floors; 34 active minutes; 2.16 miles
12/22: 9,708 steps; 27 floors; 0 active minutes; 3.99 miles
12/23: 8,896 steps; 21 floors; 29 active minutes; 3.76 miles

I am going to keep my daily goal to 27,000 steps per day and keep my weekly goal to 200,000. Due to FitBit.com not having access to the original dashboard I will now be tracking my Active Minutes. My goal is to keep it above 150 minutes per day. I will also be tracking my mileage and my goal is to walk 12 miles per day. I will also be tracking my floors climbed but as I don't really encounter many steps in my travel I will be interested in seeing how high I can get this number on a daily basis. Keep moving people, I know I will! DON'T GIVE UP!!!

I rarely drink anything other than water so I can provide support for the points made in this article. My skin has truly gained a tremendous benefit from drinking water. I rarely get sick and almost never suffer from heartburn or bad indigestion (and I eat a ton of spicy foods!) Water is my secret weapon for maintaining my weight loss.

2016 continues to be huge! Our membership has increased by 33,155 members these past fifty weeks! That represents a membership gain of over 37.78% since the beginning of 2016! In the U.S. Christmas is just around the corner. Will you be treating yourself to a new FitBit? Again, I am hoping that Santa will bring me a wrist type of FitBit monitor. I would love to compare the data from my One to a wrist monitor. I am very curious how the numbers will compare. Are you listening Santa?!

Another week in the books. I am nursing a minor hamstring injury so I have cut back tremendously on my physical activities. That being the case, I took a grand total of 171,281 steps for a daily step average of 24,469 steps. I was active for 917 minutes or 131 Active Minutes per day on average. I traveled 80.48 miles or a daily average of 11.50 mile and I climbed a grand total of 36 floors this past week. Not bad for the activities I did partake in, hopefully next week will be better.
