My goal this week will be to STOP nibbling!!! And I need to get in and really clean my house top to bottom. I will do this a room at a time but I will take longer than a week. I also want to do some baking and sewing.

I managed to get to the gym and do some homework yesterday, as well as teach my piano lessons and go to the grocery store.
Today I've straightened out my coupons (couldn't find the one I wanted yesterday), exercised, and am working on cleaning off my desk to-do pile and homework! Need to do some laundry and run the vacuum too.

My goal for the week is to get things done today and Monday, as those are my days off. Homework, house cleaning, little projects I've let sit on my desk and pile up, -- stay off the timewasting websites and get something done! I like someone else's idea about "get 5 things done before you use the computer." I'll try that first.

Just wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing. My eating habits are improving but there is still a way to go. It is helping me just focusing on one thing for a week and not getting overwelmed by too many goals. How about everyone else. This week's goal for me is to get my beauty sleep regualrly. I know how important it is and it tends to get sacrificed. Good luck and hope everyone is doing well!

Did ST today at the YMCA, did some yesterday with wts at home but feel like I could do more. Why do I hate it so much?!

I did manage to get two scarfs finshed that have been hanging around. I made it to bed at 1230 just a little over my mark. Better than the night before.

I'm not doing so well at my goal of 4000 steps a day. I did manage a walk around the block on Sunday and Monday - that was enough to get my steps for the day up to over 3000. But i didn't manage to go out at all yesterday. emoticon

I am still trying, and today is another day.

I need to go to bed at a reasonable time. The computer has to be turned off by 11pm so that I can be in bed by 12 at the lasted. The hope is to get up earlier so I can do what I need to do in the day time instead of night time. It is hard for me to do too much at night because the Hubby is sleeping and I don't want to wake him or the kids. I also don't like to do things that make me think too hard as it makes me lay in bed wide awake trying to sleep.

I relate to this and am grateful for the challenge. I took my goals off my Sparkpage, not because they weren't good goals, because there were too many and I felt overwhelmed. I expected a sedentary, overeating, night owl to jump up, cook healthy, exercise and go to bed on time, to wake up refreshed and have a productive day. Sound a little unreasonable? I thought so. So here's my goal. I'm going to stay off the computer until I get 5 things done. They can be little or big, but they must be done first. This takes care of some other things I need to do like feeding myself properly because I can't function without food; being physically active; and getting started on a list of things that has grown over time. Also I can wear a step counter that I bought but haven't used yet. The truth is if I leave the computer off in the morning and start doing things, the momentum seems to build naturally.

My goal this week is to SIT LESS. I need to MOVE. I've been sitting for days.... doing SparkPeople mostly. After Bruce's blog on Thursday we gained about 140 people within ONE DAY!

I've read your goals on this post so far and each one could be mine. I am going to concentrate on slow eating. When I was a kid I used to et really slowly and my weight was better. Somehow when I got older I started eating too fast and my weight reflects this. I think this would be good for me. Thanks all.

This really resonates with me. I have to take one thing at a time or maybe a couple things at a time because if I try to do it all, I set myself up for failure.

This week, my goal is tracking. Tracking my food, tracking my exercise, my feelings and my goals.

Like you, i have all these goals but i am not accomplishing many. This week i will concentrate on reaching my 4000 steps a day (i am averaging about half that number).

I think you are right that sometimes we can't do it all so we need to take a minute and see what we can do. My goal is to wake up early every morning and exercise. The waking up part being the hard part emoticon . Good luck!

Hi All!
I am relatively new to the team but due to the fact that this team's goal is to make small changes to achieve a large goal I thought this might be a great challenge for this team. I have found lately that I want to do everything...exercise more, eat better, sleep more, etc...and found this is not working so I decided to challenge myself to focus on one goal each week.
