My husband is my absolute biggest supporter. After all, he's the one paying for my gym membership and all the groceries I put on the list. He encourages me to go to the gym and do other active activities when I really don't want to.

Having people around us who support, encourage, motivate, and lift us up when needed is so important in every aspect of life. I believe itís even more important during weight loss journeys. So many feelings can be tied to health and fitness from how feel we look, to how we actually physically feel, to feeling defeated and embarrassed of ourselves.

My support system is made up of my 4 daughters. They have forced me up when I wanted to give up. They have encouraged to climb a mountain (ok, a really steep hill with lots of rocks) when I was scared. Theyíve sat down with the same plate of greens at dinner as I have. I surely would have already thrown in the towel without them. One of my twins is afraid of anything that even remotely looks scary, like that mountain side lol. With the other 3 girls pushing me, I made it to the top and was able to encourage my scared girl to do the same. There have been a lot of high 5ís lately lol. Iím their rock and they most certainly are mine.

I want to do this. I NEED to do this.
