Just finished my first time through bootcamp! I am walking/running on the treadmill with incline now and am doing strength training at least 5 days a week 20 minutes a day. I plan to keep going and make that my routine. Thank you bootcamp!

Finishing day 6 of week 4. I got behind and had to play catchup because of an injury to what I thought was a knee injury. Final determination was that it was an IT-Band injury after a zigzag running workout. I am back on track now and plan to finish tomorrow. These are really good workout plans so I will try one more repeat of this Bootcamp plus the New You bootcamp challenge to add some variety to my fitness program for the next 4 weeks.
It has been a challenge for me to maintain the schedule and to do some of the exercises. As I complete the challenge again my flexibility should be better. I should be at a greater fitness level.

Staying strong & Motivated

Starting week 4 and even though I haven't lost any pounds, I have lost an inch in my waist so I call that win. I feel I am stronger than I was 3 weeks ago. Again, another win. Think when I am done with this I will pick another challenge to do. It has help to keep me motivated.

Finished the 28 days but I'm thinking about repeating - trying a heavier weight for the next round and maybe doing some of the days twice. It was a good workout!

Feeling defeated this week - Not feeling very well, my son is sick, I hurt my foot while running on the treadmill - I am planning to start this boot camp challenge over tomorrow - Despite my roller coaster weight loss, up and down, I am determined to keep moving forward. My journey is not complete until I meet my goals!

WEEK 4- Day 1

emoticon 3 times today.

Did the cardio emoticon video twice and a core video.

It is the first of the month so I did my measurements. I've lost 5 pounds and 5 inches.

emoticon

I didn't lose anything this last week, but I could tell that my body was different. Any suggestions about why this happens? emoticon

And to top it off I think I strained my knee bowling! The one strike I got sent my knee into a fit of pain. Not sure if I can do a lower body workout today, might just switch my days around. I will try to get in a 30 min casual walk as I do not want to push my knee into a serious injury.

Saturdays are the hardest for me. We take a 4 hour drive every other Saturday to go pick up my partner's daughters then we go and do stuff with them. Tonight I insisted we at least do something active so we are going bowling. I missed my bootcamp video since there is not any place to do it in our small apartment when they are here. I typically stay home on Sunday's and then get in my workouts for the whole weekend. Not exactly ideal but not sure what else to do. At least I get a small victory tonight!

Long term goal would be to continue what I've started. I still have a good bit of weight to lose but this challenge has been a great jump start. I'm now in a routine of tracking my food and planning healthy meals and snacks. I also exercise daily which is some I have wanted to do for a while. So long term I plan to keep going to get the results j want.

And did finish my boot camp today although I was hungover and felt like crap. It did make me feel better to get moving some. Still need about 15 more minutes of cardio but still have a headache. Not sure I will get it done today.

Started week 4 today. Felt really good. My biggest problem is trying to get my digital media ready for my next adventure. My music and books are all in a disarray. On my iPod and my kindle they are all in order but if i want to add things it is a real nightmare. And then I find music is missing from my files. :( It is my biggest distraction. On an upnote the weather looks pretty good this week I may even hit the outdoor pool. This is a first for this NW girl! I might really love Cali if I ever get into the groove down here.

During week 4 I got my period. I did Day 3 workouts and an extra 20-minute total body strength and it made my period heavier. I didn't feel like doing anything for a few days. I felt very tired. I didn't feel like doing anything. Is it safe to workout while having your period? emoticon

Day 1 week 4 for me, was reluctant to start today, rough night not much sleep, feeling a bit down. But I made myself get up and do my boot camp workout this morning. Glad I did, I will hopefully get some more fitness in today, really need to challenge myself.

Week 4 Day 3: I walked 23 minutes this morning. I plan on doing more exercise later in the day after I prep and prepare my salads, sides and main dish for the rest of the day and hopefully tomorrow emoticon

My Daughter is visiting for a few days. My grandson is also visiting while on spring break. This has thrown me off my routine but I will get back on. I think I have gotten a handle on the fact that this is a lifestyle change for me. A set back does not have to become a derailment. I will pick up where I left off. Priceless lesson.

I'm just a day shy of finishing the final week. It's been an up and down journey. I've gotten much better with most of the videos (that leg one is HARD though) and for awhile I felt like I had way more energy and excitement but this week I seem to have fallen out of that. I'm no longer in the mood to workout. I've been eating Ok, but I didn't get a whole lot of sleep over the weekend (not sure why) and I think it's messed with me. I'm hoping to get my sleep pattern back to where it was.

Any ideas for another great challenge? I enjoyed this one a lot!

Week 4 day 1. Still hate that first video, but I'm determined to come back to it later on down the road (after I get into better shape) and see if I can finally follow along completely w/o mods.

Just began the last week and already looking forward to my next challenge! :)

Yea, my final week! I'm doing ok, gradual weight loss, staying under 170 finally which is my very short term accomplishment. Just 6 more days left of the week for this challenge. I don't like having so many challenges at the same time so once I'm finished with this one I can look for some more. My long term goal which I am still hoping to get there by June 1st at latest to get to 135. Some weeks feels like i'm averaging 2 lbs loss and other times not. last week I measured waist and noticed I lost 2" so I guess even though it wasn't too noticeable gradually i'm losing in weight and waist. My next goal before long term is get to the 160 mark as right now been going from 168-169, 1 day was at 167 as weigh on my wii sometimes.

TerraLove,

emoticon and emoticon for completing the challenge. Now, I want to challenge you even further. I want to challenge you to continue doing the bootcamp, as a regular part of your exercise regime. I'm doing that, and I'm still noticing that I'm improving each time I work it!

I completed week 4 and I'm not going to stop! I improved each week, and I want to keep the momentum going. There are some things, like my balance, that I'm having a time with and I'm not sure if this will totally correct it, but it has gotten better! The hardest workout for me was the lower body, where you do nothing but legs, and when I would have to make my leg go in a circle, oh my gosh, and then you're not done, because you have to go back the other way! I definitely need to keep doing these exercises!

Thanks, Nicole!!!

Be blessed,

Completed week 4. Was delighted when I was able to do repeat the videos on three days. This has been a great challenge and I've enjoyed it. Weight down 6 lbs since I started it. The day 7 core exercises are hard for me so will be continuing that exercise while I switch to others for my next challenge.

I am working hard at getting in a run, but the snow makes it difficult. I got in a great hike earlier this week!

Teresa,

This junk, whatever it is, is really going around here, as quite a few of my friends are down and out, also. I do feel better today, except I'm still having problems with my bowels running off. I was so elated to be able to do those tricep dips, without any trouble. I had a bit of a trouble with it last week, but the first 2 weeks, it was impossible! However, I'm an overcomer and it was done, and I now have a new exercise to add to my regime!!!

This is day 1 of week 4, and I'm thankful that today is a no cardio day. I'm not feeling well, and just getting the bootcamp done, made me even more nauseous than what I was, but I needed to get that done, for ME!!! Last week I was down for the squat thrusts and mountain climbers, just modifying them a bit, but today, I wasn't even able to get down, so I just did one of the other exercises Nicole showed in the video. Perhaps tomorrow, if I'm feeling better, I can revisit this one and try again.

Be blessed,

My goal for my last week, is to add more cardio to my routine, repeat the strength training video at least one more time.
Eat enough fruit and vegetable

And stop stressing on losing and start focusing on the healthy changes that I have made so far in my life.
I want to be a healthy and happy bride by December 2013 emoticon

I just finished my 28 day bootcamp challenge and it was a good experience. I am feeling stronger and better about myself, and I can see what a benefit all the ST videos have been. I lost 5 pounds in the 4 weeks, but I look like I have lost more due to the tightening and toning that is taking place.

We are leaving on a long trip on Monday, and my main goal is to not gain weight, keep my numbers (blood sugar, blood pressure, etc.) in healthy ranges, and continue to exercise - both cardio and ST. When I return, I plan to do another 28 day bootcamp challenge. It's been so good for me. emoticon

Enjoyed this as well even though I had to repeat week 3. I'm much stronger and in week 4 the exercises have been much easier to do. I'm pleased that I've been able to stick with it this time round and am looking forward to starting a different bootcamp for September.

Congratulations to everyone on Week 4! You are doing emoticon !

I finished Week 4 yesterday! emoticon Although Week 4, Days 2-4 were a struggle for me and required some doubling up, I still finished. If I'm not active for a day I feel like something is off, so this challenge has really helped me make a lifestyle change. I've noticed some minor changes in my muscle tone, which was an unexpected plus. I also have a lot more endurance than I had four weeks ago. I'm going to continue with the boot camp another two weeks and complete the daily video three times every day. I'm up to 45 minutes a day in cardio and feel great!
