Day 21: Sunday, 6/9/19 (Week 3, Day 7)

Bootcamp: Skipped
Cardio: Rest

It has been a tough week and I haven't been able to understand what my body is going through. I was doing great when it came to my cardio and bootcamp challenge but since a week ago I've been under the weather. Not feeling very well and feeling extremely tired. Three days ago when I was about to finish the 28 day boot camp video of the day I had muscle cramps and had to stop. I was able to do 25 minutes of walking yesterday with no problem. However, I decided to give my body a rest. I do walk a lot in general since I travel on public transportation and walk everywhere. I don't know yet if my body was simply tired, if I was working out more than I should have, if I need to drink enough water, or if there is something else I need to improve. I'm taking it slow but steady and moving forward with my goals. It's a bit upsetting because I want to get to my goals fast but sometimes slow and steady wins the race.

Day 18: Thursday, 6/6/19 (Week 3, Day 4)

Bootcamp: Skipped
Cardio: 15 Minute Walk in the Afternoon & 10 Minute Walk Through out the day

My muscles needed to rest. I was exhausted three days in a row and my muscles ached. I fell asleep as soon as I touched the bed. I had already walked through out the day but rarely count it in as a workout. Today (Friday 6/7/19) I feel a lot better. I needed the rest! As much as I want to go all in I have to remember that sometimes I have to take it slow.

Day 17: Wednesday, 6/5/19 (Week 3, Day 3)

Bootcamp Video of the Day
Cardio: 15 Minute/1 Mile Gentle Walk

Still feeling a bit under the weather. This day was a hard one. I stayed in from work and tried to see what I could do to make the situation better. I did't want to exercise so I went for a gentle walk to get in some cardio. I knew that if it was a short walk I would be more inclined to start it. I did the bootcamp video of the day as well.

Day 16: Tuesday, 6/4/19 (Week 3, Day 2)

No cardio or boot camp video

I always plan my workouts in the evening when I get home from work. I was feeling a bit off this day but the plan was still in place. I got home, made sure to put a meal on the table for the family, cleaned the kitchen, and did a few more errands. I was feeling very tired but was ready for at least a 15 minute cardio and the boot camp video. I was going to put on my sneakers and yet when I sat down on the bed I fell asleep!! This was about 8pm!! I must have been exhausted for that to happen. Before I would have overcompensated for it the next day but now I know better. I am human after all and sometimes I tend to overwork myself, not by choice but because I have to. So a day with out a workout is okay as long as I keep on moving forward.

Day 15: Monday, 6/3/19 (Week 3, Day 1)

28 Day Bootcamp Video: 10 Minute Kickboxing Workout
Cardio: None scheduled for today

The first time I tried this workout, in the 1st week, I was only able to complete about 2/4 of it and I had to modify a lot of it. Today it was a lot easier and I was able to complete the video with only one modification.
