My Week 3 goals are to continue to follow the shedule with strength/toning and cardio exercises. One of the streak goals is for 10 minutes of strength/toning, so sometimes I need to do the video twice; would like for there to be more 10 minute videos. I realize I can set the time perimeter in choosing the video but would like for time to already to considered.

Half way through the week, added two RIPPED videos - what a workout! I'm hoping to start back running again too as I have 8 weeks until the Vimy Challenge (a fast 5k followed by a 10k).

I met my goal for last week, which was CONSISTENCY. I exercised every day in the way I intended and I'm very excited about that. This week we are to amp up our cardio. I don't have extra time so I'm going to focus on a more intense workout. I'd been doing Zumba once a week and Sweating to the Oldies or Walk Off the Pounds the other days. I'm going to try and do Zumba at least twice this week, but I'm going to listen to my body and make sure I'm not over doing it.

For week 2 I wanted to do a max of 15-minute cardio, but I wasn't able to achieve that. For week 3, instead, I'd like to do one or two HIIT cardio moves instead of 5 standard cardio videos. Will be less time, but higher intensity.

Continue to record, record, record.
Continue to commit to at least 10 minutes at the gym, that always turns into more.
Do home videos twice this week.
Pack my lunch and snacks, I start my new job this week.
Do not let the fact that I am starting work throw me off.

3 weeks strong!!! I can not believe I've made it 3 weeks on this challenge!

Goals now I have caught up:
1. Focus on gaining strength & bone density
2. Stay fit and well
3. Carry on with power walks (daily), aerobics (6 days) and water aerobics (twice a week), and starting a new Zumba class on 07.01.15 which should be hysterical as I have zero coordination!
4. Up to my heavier weights (From 1kg to 2kg) Goal is to reach my 3kg weights next week.
5. Lose the fat!
Hope you all have a good week!

My goals this week is to keep up with the program. I'll be on vacation so will try to get the toning in when I can. Cardio shouldn't be a problem as we'll be walking ALOT.

Got to get veggies and water in too.

During week two I was back at work and really struggled to get my fruit and veggies in. It has been really busy and I often don't have time to eat lunch until late afternoon. So this week I plan to pack more servings of fruit and veggies that I can eat as I run up and down the hallways after these wonderful high school students, :-) can I count that as cardio? haha!

Week 3 starts tomorrow for me. I have decided that my goals are going to be:

1: start my day off with a homemade fruit smoothie. This will have a tiny bit of greek plain yogurt, no sweetners, and a coconut water base. Since most fruit is out of season I will use frozen fruits.

2: try to bike daily. Once I get on my bike I love riding, it is just getting myself motivated to get moving!

3. Limit my alcohol this week. Goal is none, since my partner is on call he will not be drinking so this should be doable.

Bonus I am down 2 pounds since I started. I was at a plateau and needed a kick!

Restarting Week 3 11/17/14

Just beginning Week 3.
I'm following the plan as well as I can; some days get double same days get none, but never skip more than 1 day. Always intend to do the workout, just sometimes can't get it in.

This week, to amp up cardio. Already doing 30 min 5 times a week, but I can add another cardio video. I added Beginning Pilates last week, so maybe I'll continue on those. They are a killer!!

Up to 40 minutes a day working out. Once this Boot Camp is done, I'll have to find a happy medium and not try to kill myself like last time. Burned out, broke down, and then quit. Not doing that again!!

So here's to an intense month, and then I'll figure out the happy medium. maybe one intense and one not so... I'll be moving in March/April so that'll kick butt!!

week 3 day 3.
My goal for this week is to eat more fruit and I want to lose 1 pound this week.
I will keep drinking my 8 glasses of water, and I need to add more cardio to my workout routine.

My goal this week is to keep doing what I've been doing...

I'm so surprised and proud I accomplished most of my week 2 goals... I think they were great, so I'm going to make them part of my week 3 goals too... especially now that I know I can do them... since I've done them before! I've written comments about I did in week to help me understand what worked and what didn't, and then I'm adding to them... I think week three needs some logistic goals, and well some more random personal minor lifestyle changing goals too!!!

My week 2 goals
1. keep up my momentum, aka KEEP GETTING UP AND JUST DOING IT (gotta keep putting my shoes on).

Done! I finished week 2 some days were harder to get up and just do it than others, but really once I put my shoes on it turned a switch, and motivated me to get up.... there were many times when I'd put my shoes on, then catch myself either kicking one off, or untying it... that's when I knew it was time for me to get up, and just go for it, otherwise I knew I wouldn't put them back on....

2. push myself a little harder during my cardio maybe strive for 15 minutes instead of just 10 minutes

Done! I am now able to walk around my block without needing to stop after 5 minutes, in fact I took my dog for a 30 minute walk that was going so well I didn't want to stop, but I knew I had already made myself late for class... 15 minutes out, 15 minutes back in... slow and steady won the race!!!! Week 3 I hope I can do 20 minutes of cardio a day!

3. Drink more water, not so much super sweet tea...

Work in progress!!! I've cut the amount of sugar by half!!! Now I just need to start carrying around a water bottle, I have cups all over the place, and not an ounce of soda has passed my lips this week!!! I hope to continue the no soda bit, and lower my the sugar dependence in my tea, but really carrying a water is really what I'm after here...

4. My real GOAL is to lose 1.6 lbs this week!!!!

- I need to amend this goal... I wanted to lose 1.6 lbs of fat... but instead I gained muscle... my scale went up with all my activity... at first I was saddened by the number, and that's when I started to really notice just how much my endurance has improved, and how much happier I've felt... the lbs will fall off eventually, but I'd rather be a "heavy" strong person, than a weak skinny one... My back is feeling better, I'm not in so much pain all the time, it's still there, but I can feel the positive difference my growing muscles are having on my quality of life... and really that's what I ultimately going for... This week I'll hopefully see the scale go down by at least 1lb preferably 2, but this week I'm happy to just feel more alive, and able bodied!!! I want to improve my endurance, and muscle gain.... that'll help me burn the fat!!!

GO ME!!!! THIS IS MY WEEK!!!

Now for my not so physical as mental goals to help me achieve the life I'm trying to create.

1. I want to continue to inspire myself, actively allow others to inspire me, and keep listening to my body, and allowing my spirit to congratulate itself especially during needed rests... slow and steady will win the race!!!!

2. This week I want to do something more outwardly active beyond working out, I want to really clean my room, organize it, make it work better for me, and reflect what I'm trying to do with my life, make me the center of it, without getting hampered down in the details, or getting over whelmed, quitting, and ending up with a bigger more depressing mess... especially my desk... I want to not just clear it off, and organize it for now, but to find permanent places for most of the random stuff I constantly put on it like papers, and books, and trinkets...

3. I think I'd also like to hit up a farmers market, or at least a store that has a bit more variety of locally grown seasonal fruits and vegetables, without breaking the bank... maybe the 99cent store can help me out with that :) I really want to at least work up to 5 fruits/vegetables a day... maybe I can learn to make a breakfast smoothie! Go me!!! two birds one stone!!!!

I can do this!!! Every little bit counts, every little bit helps, every little bit gets me closer to achieving my goals!!!!

My goal for this week are to complete all the steps despite a busy work week. The day 1 cardiac video still kicked my butt today but I got through all of it until the mountain climber which is almost the whole thing. My goal is to be able to do the entire workout by next Saturday when I have to do it again.

My Week #3 Challenge goal is to track my food better. I have been so considered with getting the cardio and toning in that I haven't been as good at tracking the food. However, there was a time when all I did was track my food. The cardio and toning has definitely helped with the weight loss and increasing endorphin level emoticon

So I am practicing a bit of reality forgiveness in concluding Week 2. I was traveling for 5 days during week two and fell two videos behind. I still got in all of my cardio and can make up both videos tonight with no problem. I did all my cardio sessions and the bonus video so I'm not going to call it a flop. I had planned to get the videos in yesterday when I got home (one of them was yesterday's video) but airport delays meant I fell into bed as soon as I walked in the door.

So, onto this week-my top goal is to be more conscious with my portions. Just over half of my meals are prepared for me and served buffet style at work. This makes it way too easy to overindulge and I'm not likely to start measuring things out in the cafeteria. But, I can start thinking more seriously about the amount of food I take and about not taking seconds even when the meals are delicious and filled with relatively healthy stuff.

My second goal is to do each Bootcamp video twice during Week 3. I definitely feel like I can do another round after most of them, so it must be time to increase my efforts!

I started this week on Monday. My goal this week is to 1) complete each video twice through 2) do a cardio video 3 days a week (I walk everyday for an hour as fast as possible) 3) get through the week feeling good. I have been very achy this week so backed off my jogging 3 days a week but have been keeping up with my walking.

The race is not to the swift, but to the one who endures to the end.

Today is Day 1 of week 3 for me and I am motivated to finish this challenge. This morning I weighed myself and I was sad to see I gained a few pounds. I'm not sure if I really gained weight or gaining muscle. I can still fit into my smaller jeans and feel great. Well my goal for this week is to complete all workouts on time everyday, drink more water and eat more fruits and veggies.

So last week I did more toning videos than were required. This week is "amp up the cardio" week. Week one I exercised for 279 min.; week two, 284 min. This week I want to clock at least 300 min. so I'll make sure that includes extra cardio.

Just trying to get through week 3. Have the kids at home and I have a cold. The good thing is that I know I am getting stronger because the exercises are getting easier. When I start feeling better I want to add cardio consistently. Right now just don't have the energy being sick.

I dropped a bit last week on water intake, so I want to boost it back to the full intake this week.

I'm adding an additional cardio video on top of my interval walking/jogging.

Keeping up consistency on the daily toning, food tracking, and SP log-ins.

Last week I should have been in week 3, but was taking a break from spark people, due to the time needed. I continued my cardio and strength training. I remember most of the workouts pretty well and add to them as I see fit. Last night I did the standing core workout, doubled it and added in about 5 other exercises and felt great.

This week I'll count as week 3 and will increase my cardio. 30min a day most days is easy, but days are getting shorter and it's dark when I go to work/school and dark soon after I get home. This makes it hard to work out outside, which is my preferred venue. However Sparkpeople has plenty of cardio videos and I can go to the gym and workout longer on weekends.

I am starting week 3 today. I will be on vacation for the next week so my goal for this week is to try to eat healthier while eating out and to get some hiking in for exercise.

I am starting Week 3 tomorrow but my Week 1 goals were
~Finish the 10 minute workout video every day~
~Stay accountable by tracking my food, water and exercise~
~My goal is to lose 3-4 pounds during this challenge~
I did well with all these goals and lost 1 pound on Week 1

My goals for Week 2 were
~Do Cardio for a minimum of 30 minutes every day~
~Finish the 10 minute workout video every day~
~Stay accountable by tracking my food, water and exercise~
~My goal is to lose 3-4 pounds during this challenge~
I did very well and actually did 60 minutes of cardio every day! I won't weigh myself till tomorrow morning but I bet I lost 1 pound.

My goals for Week 3 are
~Really use those extra workout videos to my advantage~
~Continue doing 10 minute videos every day~
~Continue tracking food, water and exercise~
~Continue 60 minutes of cardio every day~
~Burn 3500 calories this week~

That's what is so wonderful about this challenge. If you have an off week, just start it over. Nothing is set in stone on how it should be done. You do it based on your schedule. Trust me, I have had to start weeks over myself :) Just know you can do it and keep up the awesome work!!!

Happy Sparking,
