My goal for week 1 is to start being active again, and I hope being in this group will help.

“Even though you may want to move forward in your life, you may have one foot on the brakes. In order to be free, we must learn how to let go. Release the hurt. Release the fear. Refuse to entertain your old pain. The energy it takes to hang onto the past is holding you back from a new life. What is it you would let go of today?”

I did not make it through last night without ice-cream. I had some jelly toast too. it didn't hurt me too much because I was still ok when I stepped on the scale today. NO MORE THIS WEEK! I have to stick to the program or my hard work will be for nothing other than treats. I want to buy a new pair of pants that cost $$$$$$ to reward myself for all my hard work, not eat more food that got me where I don't want to be. A little treat is ok, but not everything all at once. I am sticking with the program emoticon

I love Zumba and Line Dancing!
Unfortunately my schedule clashes with some of the zumba classes offered where I live so I haven't been back since last year! Anyways I was able to attend line dancing once a week which was great
I joined this group last Wednesday
This is day 3 for me
I did Day 1 video workout only last Wednesday
I did Day 2 video workout plus Day 1 video yesterday
I did 30 mins walk with Leslie and Day 3 video - Arm toning video with Nicole
I have to do this over again since I miss a lot this past week!

I love Zumba too! It has really changed me! Before I had no energy, was short of breath all the time! I thought I was going to pass out the first few times, but now, I have tons of energy! And my breathing is getting better all the time! I am so glad I found SP. Now I am tracking my food, seeing where I need to make changes! Feeling better all the time! emoticon

I have up to this point been doing Zumba two days a week with girls at church. I have been trying to make sure I am doing other cardio, and strength training at home in between. I am excited to begin this challenge, I feel that having some accountability helps keep me on track. This week, I plan to stick with this program. I am going to try an get a pic of myself to post.

My goal is to finish this week victoriously!!!!! emoticon

I wish I can say I'm on track but I've only done video one. I've missed 2 and 3. It's late in the evening so if I did a video now it will keep me up and I'm tired and need to get rest. I'll do 3 videos tomorrow and try to get back on track. I feel like a loser.

Keep on pushin. Can't stop now.

So I started on Monday instead of Sunday, but I can keep up better if I do this Sunday-Saturday. I made up a video to do that. Additionally, I've started walking while working. I have a treadmill in my home office and got a laptop stand for Christmas. I walk slowly so I can still type, but I figure that's better than sitting 9 hours straight. I also plan to add more high cardio, but starting with walking this week.

Hi Everyone
Today I did Day one Bootcamp workout video. Some of it was easy, some was challenging and some I just can't do - on those I would march in place. Looking forward to tomorrow.

I have just joined the challenge, and I have done so to hopefully shrink and tone some of my 'wobbly bits' :D
Just completed the skinny jeans challenge, and I thought I should jump right into another challenge to keep me going towards my goals, and not let me slip into bad habits!

I worked out for 30 minutes at the gym, 5 laps around the track with 10 jumping jacks in between each lap as well as running up and down the stairs in between each lap. 75 crunches, then 1 minutes of squat jacks (three jacks and then jump squat) then I did a step work out. In the end the scale was nice too me.

I am not doing a video tonight but will do 2 tomorrow

Each day is a new day! Remember to breath and relax!

I am bad...didn't do my 2nd day of Bootcamp. We went about an hour north of here on our weekly run to take my Mother-in-law to get her groceries and run errands. Well, she was down in her back, so we went and did the groceries and errands without her and brought our lunch back to have with her. Well, she had called the doctor, but OF COURSE he couldn't see her today! Our grandsons are on spring break this week and we were supposed to take them to the zoo tomorrow. My husband was going to take his Mama to the doctor tomorrow, but the boys want to spend time with Pawpaw, so now I have to go back up there again tomorrow and probably ALL DAY LONG AGAIN. Needless to say, I am so bummed that I don't feel like doing much of anything! Talk about PENANCE for this LENT...It may be Sunday before I get back to exercising, as I will have dinner for the crew tomorrow evening and breakfast Saturday morning, and I don't know how long the boys will stay on Saturday. At least I am still dieting. emoticon

May the road rise up to meet you, May the wind be always at your back, May the sun shine warm upon your face And the rains fall soft upon your fields, And, until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.

I joined the team to stay focused. I know I have posted earlier that I was not going to do the challenge only the workouts, but I think I will do the challenge as well. If I am going to do the workouts I should be determined about it and do one everyday.
My goal is to fit better in the clothes in my closet and to get down to 130 lbs. I have about 30 pounds to go. It seems like shred a few and they come back because I think I can eat what ever when ever and the answer to that is NO, I can not. I can eat what I want but not in large amounts and not when ever, I have to spread out what I eat. I should not eat ice-cream everyday just because I lost 5 lbs. Anyway. I am going to start the challenge along with a few other Sparks Challenges to keep me on track.
Hang in there everyone, Even on the days when you feel like you can't do it anymore, remember that tomorrow is a new day and you can do it. Sore muscles, yep they are going to be there but work through them and it will get easier.
Have a great evening everyone. emoticon

I am supposed to share my goals...I want to lose weight and tone up, not be so flabby and weak. I want to get into a daily exercise routine and stick with it to see on-going results and feel better. Looking forward to Day 2 in boot camp. It's hard to find time right now with Easter coming up and grandsons on spring break, but I am determined!
God Bless,
Barbie
