I am focusing on "one step at a time" doing challenges and getting myself into the habit of making these challenges a part of my everyday life. Changing my whole regime to a healthy way of life one step at a time until I am totally in control of what goes into body and exercising at least 6 days a week. This is my daily challenge and where I have my mind set.

I am not expecting a total transformation from this.... but some momentum. I'm having trouble keeping things going day to day and hopefully by the end of this challenge I'll have some habits built.

I have a bad habit of trying to go "all in," to the point where I'm overwhelmed. The simplicity of what's being asked is a good starting point.

I'd like to focus on counting calories everyday.
Completing the challenges fitness goals.
Drinking more water.
Having 2 morning coffees (I love my starbucks and have substituted lower calorie options) per week during the 28 day challenge.

I'd like to lose 8 pounds on this challenge and work up to being able to run 5k (I'm up to about 2.5 miles run/walk, so I feel like this is doable in 4 more weeks)

My plan:
Video daily
At least 30 minutes cardio 4-5 days a week
8 glasses of water daily
Add a salad to a meal daily
No soda
Don't beat myself up over slip-ups

I enlisted my SO to do a 6K race with me in December and am going to register us for the event next payday so that I have that motivation to keep me going.

Well, my goal is to use this challenge to jumpstart:

-Getting in shape
-Getting healthy
-Reducing anxiety
-Losing weight

I don't think this challenge alone is going to get me there, but I believe it will be a good start. This is probably the 8th time I've signed up for this challenge, but hopefully I can stick with it this time!

I use to workout several times a week with a personal trainer and hike 8-12 miles on the weekend. Now I get winded walking around our driveway (well, it is uphill!). My main goal for this challenge is to get into the habit of exercising every day, even if it is only 10 minutes.

My goal for this 28 day challenge is really to just recommit to healthy habits. I lost 95 pounds after gastric sleeve surgery in 2012, I quickly hit 155lbs and maintained that pretty effortlessly up until May when I hurt my back and also lost access to a car. Between pain and depression I let a lot slide and have gained about 10 pounds. I would like to reinvigorate my previous routines and thought this would be a great start, I started yesterday with a 60 minute walk with sprints and was absolutely METICULUS at tracking and made REALLY healthy food choices. Today is going great! Looks like this is just the thing to get me started on a toning/strengthening routine and I know I am going to have great results! No more pity party for me!

Ugh, another delay. Guys, I live in the boondocks and don't have unlimited data on my internet connection. That means that streaming a 10 minute video everyday is not feasible. I ordered the DVD. Should be here any day.

Eating is still pretty good!

I would like to start weight training again. I did years ago and it helped me lose weight back then. It is the one component of my new healthy lifestyle that I am missing.

My first goal is to be consistent this week and do all of the videos at least once.
