Hey there! I decided to join this challenge because I want to make sure I get moving over the holidays. I'm a college student and although I've lost a lot of weight recently due to the stress of finals, I've lost muscle too. I'm hoping to get fit and get my muscle back.

Hi! I have joined this challenge to give me motivation and new things to try for the next four weeks. I like to have a schedule and find new ways to push myself so that I can become more physically fit.

I have joined this challenge, because I want to get thin and healthy, and because I know that I like to challenge myself and If I feel "people" are depending on my effort, I will work harder.

My goals during this challenge are to get back on track with my workouts and lose 4 lbs in 28 days. My plan is to eat healthy in my calorie range, drink at least 12 - 8 oz. glasses of water per day, do 30 minutes of cardio Monday - Friday, and do the 10 minute videos each day.

I think that the 28 day bootcamp challenge will be a good way to add some new exercises to my mix. My goal is to watch the videos every day. I don't have weights, but I've saved some milk jugs that I'm going to adjust until I can lift my husband's 10 pound weights for some exercises (a pint's a pound the world round).
As the month goes on, I'll try to push myself some more on the cardio. Just a month of adding it into my life bit by bit has made a big difference, but I don't want to do too much and get discouraged..... So for now I'll aim to do the cardio every day and I'll kick it up a notch whenever I can!

My goal is to actually do this! I lost almost 10 pounds in the last month by changing my diet and I want to keep this going. Making myself put in the exercise time is always a challenge so I hope to meet it this time by doing something that holds me accountable.

Hi, my name is Betty. My goals for the 28-day Bootcamp are to really make it a habit to exercise every day, and to have strength training be an integral part of what I do. I need to lose a lot of weight, and from everything I've read here, joining in community with others increases your chances of success by oodles emoticon , so oodles it is!

If anyone is looking for a workout buddy, to touchbase with every day and check in, please send me a note - I would really like to do that with someone on the team.

Here's to success - for all of us!!

My goal is to accomplish :
1. Get back on track with workouts
2. Join the challenge to help me focus on each element of healthy living and weight loss
3. Join a group of like minded folks to be able to stay motivated to continue
4. Hoping to lose weight during the challenge, that would be a bonus. Need to lose weight, but realizing that if I do not get my habits back on track the weight loss will be bigger struggle.

Hi everyone,
My main goals are;

1. To finish this bootcamp.
2. To create an exercise routine that I can stick with, enjoy, and incorporate into everyday life.
3. To lose weight. I've been diagnosed with hypothyroidism so losing weight has proved difficult. I've stopped gaining weight and have recently lost 13 lbs. I'm hoping this is just the beginning.

I actually started yesterday. My goal is to complete the 28 day bootcamp workout non stop to build myself back up to doing cardio and walk away the pounds as well as Gilad. I did this challenge a year ago, then I built up and was able to even do the 30 day shred. then I had a sinus infection and vertigo that had me spinning, now im back and starting over, havent gained any weight back, so now its time to keep going down and get back on track emoticon emoticon

I statrted my Bootcamp challenge on Wednesday which made things a bit tricky. Friday turned into a hectic day and I ended up not working out at all. My calories stayed in check though. Saturday I was able to get 60 min of cardio and strenghth training but missed my video - did good on eating. Sunday was a dreary lazy day. Made Christmas cookies with the kids -No tasting for me!! Had every intention of working out but just never made it. Stayed in check with eating. My only splurge this weekend was a Ham on whole wheat from Subway. Choose mustard insteaf of mayo-no cheese-tons of veggies. I did get the 12" but ate half for one meal and the other half for another meal.
I am pushing myself back to a day 3 status. My goal for this week is to make my 5 days in a row of excersise.
Here we go....Happy Monday and good luck to everyone!!

Jen

I have made the decision to take part in this 28-day bootcamp workout challenge because I feel that it will help with keeping me motivated when it comes to exercising. Motivation in the fitness department has been something that I have struggled with. I hope to successfully complete this challenge because it'll show that I can stick with working out for such a long period of time (Because 4 weeks can feel very long when you're just getting started again). By the time that I complete this challenge, I hope to have a stronger desire for working out.

Well, the first thing I did was adjust my goals. Being 290lbs and only 5'1", I have more than 100 lbs to lose but I can't focus on that right now. So I set my ticker on 100 to lose but really I'm just focused on the first 20. The second thing I'm doing is using my lunch break to walk. I have the sort of job where it's easy for me to eat at my desk. So rather than using my lunch to go out to eat, I'm going to bring a lunch then use the extra time to go for a walk. Now that it's cooler I don't have to worry about getting really sweaty then having to finish out my work day. I also want to invest in a scale so I can weigh myself everyday. Right now I only weigh myself whenever I go to my mom's house but I don't go over there but maybe once a week. The number is usually so discouraging that I usually don't weigh myself even when I am over there. Well, that is done. The scale is a tool for progress not just a reason to beat myself up. If the number goes down, fantastic. I'm on the right track. If it goes up I know that I need to do more or do something different so I can see those results.

I have already made some progress on my eating habits even though I am just now starting over, I am rather proud of myself. Now I am ready to incorporate exercising and I am confident the 28-Day Bootcamp Challenge will help me build great exercising habits. I way more into outdoor adventures, but working on the challenge exercises will help me develop a routine I can build on later.

My goal is to feel optimally healthy and bring a sense of balance into my life. I am at 158 pounds now, and my goal weight is 130 pounds by April 2013. I want to be leaner, feel strong, healthy, have more energy, and a sharper mind.

I wish the best of luck to all Challenge team members!

I don't want to set a goal for the new year because I'm trying to make a lifestyle change. I don't want this to be just a New Year's resolution. I do, however, want to lose about 20lbs before my 35th reunion on April 20th, 2013. I want to reach my goal of 125 lbs as soon as I can, but I'm not going to put a ton of pressure on myself as I already have a ton of stress in my life right now. I'm just going to DO MY BEST!!!

Be the best that you can be in everything you do!!

Ok gonna try to start the new year off before it starts. I want to loose a total of 49 pounds in the next 5 months. So I can have that summer look we all want. In co ordinance with this challenge I am going to start a 400 calorie a day diet along with at least 4 days a week 30 min cardio. Wish me luck I have a hard time keeping track of food as well as keeping with any sort of "plan". I hope everyone else does well with this challenge.

I am here because I am due to have surgery and I need to lose 15-20 pounds within a month. I am also on a modified diet to help on this goal.

I'm almost there!!!

I am here because I need a workout type schedule and this does it for me. I haven't worked out much in a while, maybe once a week and I'd really like to get back into the routine.
My goal is to lose 2-4 pounds during this 4 weeks, one step closer to my 74 pounds lost!

I have been lazy during the past year. I need a jump start to my weight loss, I have a long term goal of 35 pounds by my birthday in April. Hopefully accountability can put me back in track! Spark people was there while I lost over 150pounds a few years back. A few inches or pounds off of me would be great 10 in 28 days should be doable... I hope
