I joined because I have actually joined this group before and then left it because I wasn't doing the exercises or following the plan because I have a hard time following through with doing things. This time I want to show myself that I CAN do this and I will not give up this time. I joined another Spark People Challenge and I am almost in the 3rd week out of 4 and am very proud of how far I've come, so I think I can do this Challenge the whole way through this time!! My overall goal though, is to start incorporating strength exercises into my weekly workout routine, I have been jogging/walking 2.2 miles every day (30 minutes of cardio) so it will be easier for me to just add in the 10 minute videos!! :)

I joined because I wanted a well structured exercise program to follow where I don't have to figure out what exercises to do every week.
My goal is to get up early every morning and work out for 10-30 minutes before school. If I don't get up early then I'll do it in the afternoon or double up the next day. I'm also looking in to biking to school to get more cardio exercise and save money.
I don't have any weight loss goals but I am going to try to eat more lean meat and veggies and track my calories to stay at least under maintenance. Mostly I want to feel healthier and stronger.

My goal in joining this team is to start a consistent routine that i will stick with in the long run..ive been needing a motivator to keep me accountable....so why not a bootcamp? Have accomplished 3 consistent days so far and feel pretty good... looking forward to more and good luck to you all as well!

I am looking to jumpstart some weight loss and get my metabolism moving again. I was working out near the end of 2011, but got derailed over the holidays. I know I've been eating too many chips and drinking too many sodas, so I'm attempting to make healthier food choices as well. I love the idea of accountability with this challenge.

I am trying to get back on track. I am hoping that by participating in this challenge, that I will create more accountability for myself. Nothing seems to be working and I keep getting discouraged. However, I know that I need to change something. Didn't someone one say that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome?

I have joined the 28 day bootcamp to rev up my exercise routine. I seem to get stuck in a boring rut! My goal is to do the video EVERY day for 28 days. If I can't find 10 minutes a day, I really need to re-set my priorities!

I joined because I seem to be stuck on a plateau and nothing I do is making it budge. I thought that if I mixed it up a bit with an intensive challenge that this might help kickstart my weight loss again. Thankfully I haven't gained any weight while on this plateau, but I'd really like to be moving forward with my weight loss once again.

I lost 14 pounds since I joined SparkPeople. But I hit a wall and have only lost a half of a pound in the past 3 weeks. So my goal is to kick things up and add 4 more pounds to that total pounds lost. That would be one pound a week. I think I can do it with this Bootcamp Challenge.

I have many goals but my main one, right now, is to lose weight. I am seriously unhappy with my flabbiness. Over the past 3 years I have quit smoking and had 3 children so I have put my body through quite a bit in a very short period of time. Needless to say, it is not happy with me.

If I could afford a tummy tuck I would be all over it. But even then I still need to learn to eat better, live healthier and make the time for all of it. I am hoping this challenge will teach me to do that. And even if it does not, I am sure I will learn a little something about working out. :)

Hello everyone,

I am fairly new to this site. I need to lose quite a bit of weight, and become more healthy as a result. I haven't always been heavy; it is the last 20 or so years that I seemed to gain all the weight. I am concentrating on drinking more water. I have a little bit of a challenge in needing to cut some of my calories. Also, I need to stay more motivated in exercising. Exercise is the biggest challenge for me.

I am a new mom and need to loose weight. Although I did not gain any weight during pregnancy, I've been overweight for most of my life and it's time for this to change. I want my children to look up to their healthy and fit mom as a good role model. My old scale (which I don't think is correct) says that I am currently 190 lbs (on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 4:40pm). However, I am probably a little more heavier than that and I am going to buy a new digital scale so that I can weigh myself again this week. I am currently breast feeding so I do not want to do anything to rigourous because that might inhibit my ability to produce milk, and therefore I probably should not try to loose more than 2 pounds per week for this challenge. So since this is a 4 week challenge, I hope to lose 8 pounds. I also want to gain some muscle mass and tone my thighs, abs, and arms. And I would like to improve my heart health and posture and lower cholesterol. I am glad to find this challenge because this is what I need to get off the couch and accomplish something alongside all of you who are doing the exact same thing. It is a concrete accomplishment every day. So let's do this. I'm ready!

My goal is simple.... To follow the program and get myself into an actual exercise routine.
I want to get into the habit of working out and quit using the excuse of not knowing how or what to do.
I want to lose pounds and inches, but I will not limit myself to an exact amount because I don't want to aim low and slack off, and I don't want to aim high and fail. I plan on giving my all and being able to accept the results that I achieve to be of my own doing and use it as motivation to keep going.
