I have been dieting for about 2 months and need to now step up the exercise of my diet. I normally exercise about twice a week but I need to exercise daily. I hope this challenge will motivate me to do this.

My goal is to lose 30 lbs by the end of this year. I currently just started working in an office environment and studying for my license. These equal to a lot of sitting. I've been gaining a lot of weight and my buttocks is noticeably bigger than before I started in January. I would really like to lose all the weight I gained and tone my body.

My goal is to lose 8 lbs per month. Let's do this!!

I am taking care of my five year old nephew and no longer have the time to hang out at the gym like I used too. I am not really motivated to workout at home. When I get home I don't do anything but relax. I have not worked out much in the past month. I was hoping this would help me to keep the healthy habits that I have formed in the past year.

I have failed so many times. I always start very motivated and in a couple of days I get bored or lazy and the food around just call me to eat and indulge. I have everything at home for working out, from a set of dumbells to a swimming pool and everything in between. I have spent a lot of money in gyms and trainers...books, magazines, you call it. I am a skinny fat, I don't look big but I feel like that. My arms and back are wide, and I have fat hanging from my abs and a double chin. I found sparkpeople when I was browsing apps for my ipad and I think it is a wonderful tool for me. I have two kids, I am turning 38 in May. My height is 5'5", my weight is 145 lbs and i want to lose 15 pounds and I want to become a fit person. I hope you guys can help me...I know that if I have people motivating me I will succeed...but I also know that I am the only one who can do it with determination and purpose. Thank you all!

I start a new job in August and I want to lose 22 pounds by the time I arrive. I am an outdoor educator and lead an active lifestyle working with kids outside but am overweight a great deal due to emotional eating and carrying old weight from when was more sedentary. I am trying to control the emotional eating by keeping track of daily calories with a food journal. This month I am kicking my body overhaul into gear with some strength training to prepare for my lifeguard certification in August. My legs are really strong from hiking daily but my arms and core need a good amount of work, I want to feel strong and ready when I get into the water for that test.

I got part way through week three of this 28 day challenge and had to stop due to injury. I thought about picking up from where I left off but that didn't seem right. I want to do 28 days of consecutive exercise - I am trying to establish a habit. Believe me stopping doing to exercises was HARD because I was enjoying them! But last Wednesday I had to stop top allow my back and leg to heal up.

They say it takes 28 days to establish a habit... and it took less than that for me. It also took just a couple of days off to make it easy NOT to do these exercises too. 4 days and I am out of the habit, already.

So I am back to week one, day one. I know by the end of this week I will be back in the zone and looking forward to my bootcamp.

My goal is to have my eating back on track by making a meal plan. I hate making meal plans but I didn't lose any weight last week.

I still have 45 pounds to lose which makes me really sad.

This boot camp thing is pretty cool. I love SP! :) I need to grab the book, but the bookstore is always out!

My goal is to give 100% one day at a time and get through each step of the challenge. Right now I am a little overwhelmed with maneuvering through this site but I keep watching all the videos. By the way, does any one know where the videos are that we are supposed to be doing for this challenge? Good luck to everyone. Your hardwork and dedication will be rewarded. Keep the faith and believe!

My goal with challenge is to create a set of healthy habits by jump starting my weight loss program. I plan to lose at least 8 pounds during the 4 week period. This will keep me on track with my long term goal of losing 80+ lbs. I want to do this the right way and change my lifestyle, not just diet.

In the past two years I have gotten married, quit smoking and somehow managed to add a lot of weight I don't really want. Two big things are coming up for me and I am mortified of both. My husband has encouraged me to run a 5K with him in a month and one of my best friends is getting married the weekend after. I don't know which scares me more. Running or showing up in a dress. My goal for this 28 day boot camp are to be in good enough shape to do both.

Hello! I just started today and I feel really great! I don't exactly have a weight loss goal I'd like to accomplish. More so I'd just like to make a habit of exercising everyday. I feel like, the pounds will come with that goal. So, that's all! Wish me luck (:

Hey Everyone,

My name is Cherie and I am 36, moving quickly to 37. I have been working my behind off at the gym for the past 4 months (surprise it's still there!!) I have only lost 4 lbs, have seen some toning but reality is I need to lose weight. I am trying not to get frustrated and kick it up a notch. It has never been this hard to drop weight for me. I am trying to remain optomistic.

Goal #1- Become a better runner. I've gone from not running at all to almost 4 treadmill miles at 5.3 mph. I can only do that one of the 4-5 days I am at the gym

Goal #2- Burn at least 500 calories each time I go to the gym

Goal #3- Drink more water. I swear I have to force it down my throat because I don't get thirsty!

Goal #4- Better tracking and portion control of my foods. After I leave work at 5 p.m. I tend to lose control of what my dinner becomes.

On the plus side I have reduced and almost stopped late night snacking :)

I am 23 and I live in Missouri. I am looking to loose some weight before I get done with my college career. I have an active lifestyle as I farm along with going to school, but I know that I can do more and I want to do more. So I am looking forward to seeing how I can make a change for the better.

I've joined the team because I'd like to challenge myself a little more. Do something that will help to trick my body so to say. In accomplishing this challenge I'd like to see at least an additional 3-4 lb weight loss at the end of it. Right now, my weight loss is approximately 8 lbs a month (give or take) and I'd really like to lose just a few more. So, there it is.
Here we go!

I joined this challenge because up to this point, I've never done anything that is typically thought of as exercise other than run on a treadmill in gym class and lift a light weight for a couple minutes each night. Everything outside of that has scared me. A lot. Exercising seems really complicated and I wasn't sure if I could do it. I have been tracking my fitness, but the things I have been doing have been things like gardening, raking, and heavy cleaning. I watched a couple of the videos for this challenge, and they seemed basic and easy enough that even I, with no fitness experience, could do them. I'm hoping this will introduce me to exercising. I don't dislike exercise --- I actually feel pretty good after I've used my muscles. I just don't know HOW. So I'm hoping this will educate me. :)

I am participating because there is strength in numbers. Supporting and having other people's support can be the difference between much success or none at all. My goal is ultimate health and fitness, but I'd be lying if I said having a smoking hot body didn't matter to me! I'd LOVE a physique that makes me proud!

PLUS Hypertension runs in my family, but a physician told me that certain things are only hereditary IF YOU HAVE THE SAME HABITS AS THEM...

This week I will eat more (I've been lacking calories), drink more water, and exercise for at least 45 minutes at least 4-5 days.

I'm the same as a few posters, consistancy! Not so much with cardio, but defo with strength-I find it really boring! I'm going to try and combinemy runs with Jillian Michaels 30 day shred (alternating, I'm not crazy!) else I'd never do strength training!
