I just completed a month of nutrition tracking, and am slowly getting back into my regular workout routine by starting the Couch to 5K program (I'm on Week 2). I wanted to add some other exercise to round that out and this challenge sounded like fun!

I am 29 years old. I have been over weight most of my life. I have tried and tried with my weight fluctuating over the years. I now have a 4 year old daughter and am trying to get pregnant again. My doctor told me my weight could be the reason I am not getting pregnant. I've decided it's time to change my life, not only for me but to be there for my family and be able to do the things I want with them.

I am 50 years young and have gone through 3 very difficult years. I moved away from my family and friends for my husband's job and am having difficulty getting used to the terrain and weather in Texas. I used to run all the time in California which was quite flat and green. Texas is hilly, rocky and brown.

I am hoping to find a exercise plan that will work with this new phase of my life. A new state, new demanding job and new home have made it difficult to get into a routine. Without any friends to workout with I am depending upon my own inner self discipline to make this a success(I would appreciate anyone's help who has been able to do this).

I want to lose about 10 pounds and tone up before summer, yet also find a plan that can maintain my weight and fitness level once I reach my goal. emoticon

I've changed my diet habits so it's now time to get my fitness level up!

I need focus and something to kick start me and to re-ignite the passion to work out.

I've joined the challenge so I can get back into the swing of exercising regularly.

As it's 10.25pm (UK) my first day will be tomorrow!

Good luck to everyone else who is starting this challenge!

I joined this challenge to lose those "last 5 pounds" that have been bugging me for the past few years. I always get to this point and hit a plateau.

I joined this challenge to help me get back on track. And after doing the Day 1 video and not being to do it all at the high pace, i'm using that as my incentive. By the time I'm done with this bootcamp, i want to be lifting regularly again and also be able to do the Day 1 video full with the trainer.

I joined this challenge to kick my exercise routine up a notch. I go to jazzercise 3x a week--love it!
and just added a zumba class 1x a week. I usually do walking dvds in between jazzercise.
I really want to lose 20 lbs by the summer--I have 3 family weddings. also I lost 40 lbs about 3 years ago and gained most of it back:(

Denise
You've got to say, I think that if I keep working at this and want it badly enough I can have it. It's called perseverance.

This is my first challenge, and I joined to get back in the habit of regular, daily exercise. I've got some weight to lose still, but really I think I'm just going to focus on exercising daily so I feel better (physically, mentally, emotionally) and have more energy and better sleep. I tend to get down on myself when I focus on the scales too much, whether I'm making progress or not, so I'm going to try not to obsess over that. :)

I joined this challenge to get back on track so that I can still reach my weightloss goals this year. My nutrition hasn't been as good as it should be and i've only been working out 3 days a week and it's time to kick it up a notch! I'm going to use this challenge to keep myself accountable.

I am joining this challenge to get back on track. The holidays were horrible for me and I gained most of what I have lost this last year back just since November :( The beginning of November I started a new diet and I actually started gaining, and haven't stopped yet. I am hoping to lose 2#'s a week, but I wont complain if I lose more ;)I am hoping to get a jump back in where I was and getting the extra support and motivation I get from all of you :) I AM READY!!!!

Hi everyone,
I have joined this challenge because I can really use some extra support to lose the last 12 pounds. I will be honest though if I get down to 160 I might change my mind on my goal and go to 150 im not quite sure we will see when i get there. I hope that I can give you all the support that you guys and gals need and hope to get the same in return. I have gone from 250 down to 172 in about 6 months and I feel great, and yes I have been eating. But working so many hours that I haven't had time to exercise so when I start working out I think that the weight will start falling off again. Good Luck to Everyone!!!!!! Missy

For my28 Day Challenge I have made these my Goals:

1. No soda
2. Work out more even though I can't afford the gym.
3. Drink more water between 8-10 glasses a day.
4. Be more active even when not at the gym
5. Be positive and not give up no matter how hard it gets.
6. Just do it!!!!!

I joined this challenge so that I can make exercise more of a "habit" by following a structured work out routine regularly. I also hope to build my endurance so that I am closer to my goal of starting a running routine at the end of 28 weeks. Lastly, if I lose 6-8 lbs, I won't complain.

Hello everyone!

I joined the challenge in the hopes that it will push me to be more active and lose weight.

In 28 days I can:
1) do nothing and be the same weight as I am now or
2) I can exercise and be fitter.

I like the 2nd choice better.

Right now I'm on W1D4. So far so good!
