Hubby & I went for 1 hr walk in behind houses. Saw some interesting things., group, ducks in coop, birds can't figure out name of. Bit cool expecially when wind gusted up to 27 kph so chilly as just above + 1 C

I did an early morning trail walk today. It brought me so much peace. The cool breeze and fall colors got me thinking about moving my journey forward. I am approaching onderland and am hoping to get there by October 31. No Halloween treats for me!

I did 35 minutes in our pool with aqua jogger around my waist. Also did gardening for 60 minutes. I have more energy doing keto.

I'm doing well getting my steps in - I try for 2000 each hour until I get to 20 000. Sometimes when I get behind, having to do a lot of steps to catch up is discouraging. I have found that putting on music and "dancing" around helps.

I broke my ankle over a year ago and since it was a small bone so it has been bothering me. I got my 10 minute walk in today though with 1834 steps. For now, I will have to do other exercises right now. I pinned some chair exercises on Pintrest so I will start doing some of those exercises.

This past week I added some of the short fitness videos to my day. I do about 10 min of stretching exercises each morning and then get at least 20 minutes of walking each day. The quick little videos were a nice change of pace.

The thing that makes working out more fun for me is listening to music at the same time, either high energy music for 10 minutes 3 x week for my little cardio blasts, and one of my favorite albums while I'm walking on the treadmill.

To get off of my medications; Cholesterol statin, Hypothyroid levothyroxine,after effects from statin is hitting my quads and sharp pain in knees, to finish a marathon and too get at my healthy weight at 146lbs, so I can look better and do more things; to be able to work more active jobs, run a marathon, wear better clothes- more of a variety and feel better. To have more energy and get rid of my sleep apnea. I am feeling more energetic and sleeping better.

I'm currently able to bike morning and late afternoon/evening. Soon enough late afternoon/evening rides will be out. I'm so proud of myself for getting up early to ride. Who would ever guessed that was possible? Not me in a million years!!!! 8 miles total yesterday. Actually, a tad over.

It has been a rough week for me. It was my grandaughter's birthday on Wednesday, my daughter's birthday on Thursday, a get together on Friday and another one today, and a final (children's) birthday party to attend tomorrow. My good intentions to eat within my range weren't as strong as I might have hoped.I have a bad hip that has really acted up this week as well, and I have really struggled with my fitness classes and activities.. so I am kind of bummed out today... but next week is a new week. I did not do a Spark video workout as per the challenge, because my usual classes etc, were all I could manage. To add some fun I took my hula hoop out in the backyard - bet the neighbours all had a giggle! And I put on some dance tunes while I was cooking food (for all these get-togethers) and danced around the kitchen while I chopped, stirred, and stewed! On to week four!

I found two more awesome places to walk. One has eleven pokestops in a half mile loop. This is so fun I spent almost two hours there on Monday, just walking the loop and catching Pokemon. :-)

I rode my bike for the first time in a WHILE this week. It was fun, but a lot harder than I thought it would be. I was TIRED that day.

I also did some water jogging. But I'm probably going to save that for the days when it's raining and I don't want to walk or ride my bike.

throw Leslie Sansone's Aerobics Low Impact & Walk Away The Pounds. I'd like to know how

I'm becoming addicted to the 10-minute video workouts. I find I can do almost anything for 10 minutes. If not, almost all of the moves have modifications so I can still complete the workout.

I've been doing good the people at Kroger are still looking at me a little funny as i do my laps while they stock the store but i'm getting pretty consistent. All three weeks i have done at least ten mins a day 5xs a week, most days i actually get about 20-25 of good cardio in. Yesterday was great i actually got off work in the day time so i was able to go for a walk on a trail near my job it was so pretty out, this is doing me a lot of good.

doing good this week .. did sparks yoga sitting .. and hand weights with some walking yesterday - going to get in more walking today- need to do errands - fast walk park away- etc... will be 100 degrees so will not be outside - walk walmart -walgreens-etc

I am looking forward to this week. I want to increase my morning routine by adding a late afternoon core strengthening workout. I already feel like my posture has improved and I am toning up a bit. I was to keep that momentum!

I started with the Sparkpeople videos from day 1 but yesterday added a new series from guest blogger Jessica Smith. Great workout and such a wonderful energy from her.

Exercise has gone from a "have to" to a "want to"!

I went to the gym with my daughter. We had a nice workout. I also went for bike ride after dinner today. I've been good at finding new and different workouts at the gym most days this week. Feeling good!

Today I did day 15, 21 Day Fix: Cardio Fix. As for following the diet, I'm day day. I feel guilty on those days that I miss but you can't stop life from happening and I realize that there will be the odd day when the workout doesn't happen. My waist is looking trimmer. I'll do measurements tomorrow. Not a huge change in the scale, but for now, I'm okay with that. I'm working hard to meat my first goal in weight loss. Heading into my 3rd week of the 21 Day Fix Program. I know I will do a second round of it and I may send away for one of the dance workouts from Beachbody. Meanwhile, I'm feeling good about myself, for the first time in a long time.

Anything is possible--except skiing through a revolving door.

The road to success is dotted with many tempting parking places.

Your body keeps an accurate journal regardless of what you write down...

This week I've been making a really concentrated effort to make exercise fun and exciting and NEW! I've done Couch to 5k a few times, but traveled to different neighborhoods to run in, which makes a huge difference. I've done a new ab workout app, and gone on a hike. Tonight I will probably run again and suggest going to a park or different neighborhood if my running buddies are up for it!

this week I intended to do five different forms of exercise- instead I simply took advantage of opportunity .... walked trails instead of driving past a park, heavy house keeping, canned beans as dumb bells... walked a neighborhood instead of just the driveway to mailbox.
today I finished week 3 with yoga - most days I do more than ten minutes because there's no pressure to do more than ten minutes.

I've finished week 3 of this challenge, and it's going great. The first week required deliberate reminders to exercise for at least 10 minutes, the 2nd week my activity times extended to 30-40 minutes most days, and now I'm just doing it. Yesterday was a great walk on the beach, today lots of yard work. I love the increase in steps on my Fitbit.

I did the workout from Spark People, a Total Body Workout in 20 minutes. It was a bit too intense for me (I found afterwards). I had a really sore bottom. My leg muscles were sore too. But I did the whole thing for the most part (I can't do push ups).

Cycling and using a balance ball and Spark people exercises for the ball. I looked at a magazine while I did elliptical. Went for a 2 mile walk with my husband and we took our dogs.

Week three started out with body combat I love that class it relieves a lot of stress!!
Had a migraine yesterday so I did pretty much nothing all day big bummer ):
Feeling good today so going swimming and deep water jogging and plan on body combat tomorrow I need to make a new work out schedule going in the morning is not for me.

Week 3 I tried something new. Went to my local trampoline park for an aerobics class. 45 minutes of trampolining and 15 minutes of toning/core work. Took my teenage daughter and we have a blast. Would recommend to all.
