2/1/11 and 2/2/11 35 fiber a day ( my favorite way to grab fiber points is raspberries but the quicker way is my fiber bars!)

I'll try to remember to track - and doing this will send me a reminder email.
I generally have a problem with too much fiber a few times a week.
I have a fresh apple daily, today I also had a black bean salsa for a mid morning snack and home made veggie soup and a crunchy peanut butter sandwich on a flat bread for lunch, along with my oatmeal for breakfast I already have 17 grams - looking back over the week Sunday I had 32 grams every other day was in the 40's or 50's - I'll share what's giving me too much fiber to help others. As I try to cut back some cause too much isn't good either.

Just the thought of fiber spikes fear in some people. Fiber is a HUGE part of weight loss, but more importantly it is important nutrient that our bodies need and most of the time doesn't get enough of!! So for February our challenge is going to get the daily recommended amount of fiber: 35 grams per day! There are plenty of ways to get your fiber but the best way is through food. One of my favorite fiber foods is raspberries.

Check in daily and tell us how you did on fiber intake that day! What your favorite way to grab fiber is or post a new recipe that has a healthy dose of fiber!
