One of the most important things in weight loss is calories in calories out. We all know that eating too many calories a day landed us overweight and feeling generally blah. So for the month of January lets really focus on staying within our calorie range. I suggest first, going to your start page and adjusting your goal for this year and then sparkpeople will generate for you a calorie range. This is a fresh start for a fresh year. I know that staying within range may not seem like a challenge, but for some it is a daily struggle. Forming a habit takes about 21 days. If you can stay in range for the month of January, I believe it won't be a problem the rest of the year because it will be a habit to stay in range.

Check in daily and let us know how you did. It can even be a simple goal met emoticon.
