I have been kind of slacking on my spark people teams,and focusing on another site that I belong to . All I can say is that was a big mistake. I won't go into details, but let's just say it is no longer a positive place to be , especially when I am on a journey to better health. I really needed the challenge for today and I can't wait to get back into the swing of things with Spark People. Apart from being around my family and close friends and all of the support that they provide- Spark people is a positive place for me to be.

I love to encourage my Spark Friends but sometimes don't have enough time to send everyone a note, so I only do it sporadically.But you got me pumped up and I sent a motivating note to all my Spark Friends (I have 42 friends, I need some more! hee) so your motivation is multiplying all over Spark! Had a terrible weekend, but looking forward to this week to make progress in all areas of my life. Come on, team emoticon

I had taken a break for a bit - but am back and motivated to get back on track. Back to tracking in my journal and working at getting back into the swing of things. This brought me right back to why I joined this team to begin with. Thanks for the extra motivation everyone. Feels good to be back!!

Saturday I weighed 3 more lbs. than I did today and felt horrible.

Sunday I drank some coffee (I never do) got on the elliptical for 25 minutes of hard work out, ate lots of veggies, and I weigh 3 lbs. less this morning.

Just got off the elliptical again, definitely feeling motivated today!
Going to do some strechting and push ups now!

HAPPY MONDAY!!!

Motivation is such an important factor in reaching any goal, and I'm SO happy that today is Motivating Monday!
My excitement and high energy level, coupled with the weight loss I've achieved, has been a great motivator for my dear friend and neighbor, Paula, and her daughter, Bridgette. They, (especially Bridgette), have gotten their own exercise videos and are working out daily now. I'm SO proud of them!!!!
I'm also honored to know that they have been motivated to be healthier because of watching me.

It's a snow day! Mother Nature motivated me to work out today, since she left LOTS of heavy snow for me to shovel. My boss told me to stay home, so now I have some time to check out more on SparkPeople.

I needed some motivation this morning. And for me, one of the best ways is to motivate others so I got on the boards early and sent out comments to team members on all the teams I am on.
