Aug 31, Day 27: Eat Dessert
My favorite desserts are: carrot cake, tates choc chip cookie w/walnuts, Sees choc fudge w/walnuts, Heath Bar. I canít eat these desserts until Iíve gained better control over bingeing. I can eat other desserts like pumpkin pie at thanxgiving, and Mikeís birthday cake because I am less likely to go out of control after eating them.
Aug 30, Day 26: When Food Disappoints You
Don't eat it if it doesn't taste good. I can do this when I'm not on a binge, and I can see how this will help to keep bingeing down--eat more of what tastes good, eat more of what satisfies, then maybe you'll eat less out of stress.
Aug 29, Day 25: Small Amounts Less Often
I plike a wide variety of foodsócashews and crackers with cheese are good canditates for this Challenge. I do have them as part of my repetoiróI donít know why I still binge on these items. I donít know why I binge at all.
Aug 28, Day 24: Eat for Satisfaction
All 3 meals and both snacks were fulfilling.
Aug, 27, Day 23: Savoring
I savoured tonights English muffinóit was delish!
Aug 26 Day 22: Multitask with Food
I can enjoy what. Iím eating while doing other things by taking bite-breaks
Aug 25, Day 21: Eat with Awareness
I practiced mindfulness today, then crashed and burned. 1/2 Cup pistachios (healthy for you) and a box of fig and date thins (healthy and tasty). 700 cals over budget. I felt like crap all day before and after. But I did enjoy my breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a mindful way. #$%@
Aug 24, Day 20: Half-Off Special
Eating half saving half is a habit I developed out of necessity: my metabolism started slowing down, and I couldn't spend enough time exercising to defeat that down turn. So far, I've lost 11 pounds in 20 days, so I think reducing the SP daily recommendation is working. 8-)
Aug 23, Day 19: Eat Reasonable Amounts
I ate reasonable amounts of food because I am still motivated. However, today I wanted a heath bar in the worst way. Went grocery shopping and eyeballed the candy section with interest, but was able to end the day without mishap. Life is good.i am pretty good at guesstimating, still measure everytging at home, tho.
Aug 22, Day 18: Retrain Eating Habits
I already have new good habits here: eat half, take the rest home; I never forced my children to clean their plates, and I donít clean mine.
Aug 21, Day 17: Stop Wasting Food
Throw some food away. This is my habit when Iím on problem
Aug 20, Day 16: Nurturing Power of Food
Chocolate is my mother; whole-wheat bread fresh from the oven spread with real butter is my gramma. I can't go near chocolate, yet. The ww bread is what gives me real comfort--two bites is all the comfort I need; accompanied with lots of deep breaths!
Aug 19, Day 15: Power of the First Two Bites
This is what did me in last time I worked this Challenge: The first two bites sent me down the rabbit hole, and I learned that it's not a good idea to works the first-two-bites theory until I am confident that won't happen again. Not Yet!
Aug 18, Day 14: Eat Breakfast
No one has to remind me to eat breakfast--it is what I do best!
Aug 17, Day 13
Set a timer so I don't forget to eat lunch!
Aug 16, Day 12
I am still in the honeymoon stage, so my fuel was very good, thank you.
Aug 15, Day 11
Two Purposes of Food
Space meals evenly apart throughout the day. I am a diabetic; timing meals is a must, and a habit.
Aug 14, Day 10
Still a bit frustrated about the Team losing two days. I will let this pass. I came here for support, but taking days off is a killer! I will let this pass. 8-)
Learn How to take a Compliment
I learned that at my Mother's knee. Say, "thank you." Don't gush! Positive reinforcement does work.
No one has complimented me for having lost 9 pounds, so I will: Great Job, Aunty Em. Keep up the good work, don't allow silly things to get in your way of success! Thank you.
Aug 13, Day 9
Here is What I Want
More of Yesterday: Let people know what is helpful and what is not. I've done a pretty good job with this one. 8-)
Still no Joy...links broken?

August 5, 2019
1. I used to react to dh's negative comments by quitting the program, but now I remind myself that my health is too important to quit.
2. I used to turn to lots of chocolate to make myself feel better, but now I realize that chocolate doesn't cure anyone of anything, so I no longer do that.
3. I used to believe that sleep would cure exhaustion, but now I get up and take a walk, either inside or outside.
Aug 6, 2019, Day 2 of 100 Days
I am committed to this program; I will stick with my program no matter what by signing on the SP every day, reading a chapter in the 100 Days book, and by completing each step one day at a time.
Aug 7, 2018, Day 3 of 100 Days
Even when you don't feel like it, do it anyway. Life is full of choices; if I chose to follow this program, then I am choosing to do things even though I don't feel like doing them.
Aug 8, 2018, Day 4 of 100 Days
Keep the program bendable. Some days eat as if you're on a diet, others eat as if you're on maintenance. I remember, now, this is why I didn't like this program: she is full of contradictions. If your diet is flexible, then it will take you longer to lose the weight. But then, I plan to lose 1 pound a week, so, theoretically, I am being flexible by not being fixated on losing 2 lbs a week.
Aug 9, 2019, Day 5 of 100 Days
The Majic Notebook. Write it down whever I get a craving, and come up with a way to postpone giving in. Tell Alexa to put it on my shopping list.
Aug 10, 2019, Day 6 of 100 Days
Protect My Program at all Cost
From other people, as well as myself. When offered extras, say "I'll have some later." Pretty much the same as telling Alexa to put it on my list.
This is really sad -- only one other person showed up on the link today. Talk about a voice in the wilderness. Some support this group is.
Aug 11, 2019, Day 7 of 100 Days
Keep up the Momentum
Iím totally determined. ē Iíve done it before and I can do it again. ē Iím using a great weight-loss plan. ē Iím capable of accomplishing anything. ē Others have done it and so can I!
Am I down a pound or do I need to tweak something? Down 1 pound this week
Our Fearless leader determined we don't do this on the weekends. I'm very disappointed, and I will continue staying on track. I've done it before, and I can do it again--and this time I will finish it!
Aug 12, Day 8 of 100 Days
Help Me, Please!
I will let others know, and remind myself what they can say and do that will help me rather than hinder me on this important road.

Help Me Please!
