27 April postscript..
I posted this on another thread... but felt I needed where I would possibly run across this again sometime.

I am a food addict.

I am working at learning to be a "PICKY" eater.
It is a tough row to hoe, because I really do like food, the way it smells, looks, tastes... Also I am learning to drink a nice glass of (I prefer warm) water.. then wait a few minutes... then if I still feel like I am hungry... then I will attempt to search out something appropriate to eat.

I must admit... I am not always successful... but like I said... I am learning...
and, succeeding some of the time is better than not trying all of the time.

I know I will always need to weigh in as a way of reminding me that I must be aware of what I am consuming and how much I am exercising. When I go on auto-pilot... I will always get lost.

Here it is 27 April already...

I have been keeping up with the reading (FWTS)... but I am not doing so great at keeping up with the logging/blogging/note taking...

I have started using the excel weight tracking chart.(with the 5 & 10 day averaging) It is interesting to watch the averages in action.

I received the offer of a free copy of "Kick Your Fat in the Nuts" by T.C.Hale... I am finding it an interesting read. If anyone stops by that has any knowledge of this book I would be interesting in hearing your views. I have only read about 10% of it... but it does still have me turning the pages.

via Amazon I bought two of the books: 100 days book and make friends with the scale book and loaded them to my kindle-PC app on the 13th..
I consider 13 a lucky number... but then aren't they all at least once in a while.
Since the FWTS book is the one the team is working at present I have played catch-up and I am working through that book... day by day.. chapter by chapter. and putting notes on the book in kindle-PC. I had to learn how to do that.. it took me just a bit to figure out how it was done... but I persevered and now wonder what made me think it was so difficult to figure out. Isn't that just the usual way of things? Once you know something you wonder why you ever had the slightest problem finding the answers.

I need to remember that since this is NOT a 'private' team... anyone with internet access can peruse anything posted on this team... whether they are SparkPeople members or not.
