Ok...day # 3 went well,today is #4 (Oct 3)

1.Think about how you could define your narrow diet road as compared to your wider diet road. Be as specific as you can.

That would be being in control over all areas of my weight program to a "T" I can do this but not very many days in a row. My wider road would be to eat off track and get back on the narrow side as soon as I can. Allow that slice of cake or pie on a special occasion but don`t let it ruin all my hard earned efforts.

2. Create two program categories- one for your narrow road, and one for your wider road. Make a list of your program goals for each of the two roads. You might include types of foods, amounts, and locations for eating them. Also, write down your exercise plans for both road.

narrow road...Cals between 1200 & 1300...stay away from all overeating opportunities. Remember always that I am committed and just do it.

wider road.........eat bites of stuff that I want...but not the whole of it.

3. Decide on ways you can be flexible with each of these boundaries without losing sight of the healthy road you want to follow.

The holidays are coming up and I will plan ahead on a day that I know more temptations will be there. Do my exercising faithfully so I will feel "good " about the choices I may make with holiday celebrations.

Today (Oct 2) is day #3 for me...........Do it anyway (BBL) In reading Linda`s blog....I believe she is talking about a plan of action towards weight loss. I put down other things I need to do but deleted them. So, my response to this will take some time for me to think about and come back. emoticon

1. Identify a task you don`t like doing and do it anyway......
after thinking about this and what will benefit my weight loss today....here it is...I have a committed ladies meeting that I attend 2X a month and there is always a complete breakfast with sweets. Today and hoping here after....I will not eat any desserts at these meetings. I will only choose healthy foods. because I am different, I use to be that way, I am committed and I will "just do it"

2. Notice how it feels to get it done (be back later)

3. Make a list of actions you plan to stick with today, regardless of how you feel
a. take a Nutrisytem bar to help with the sweet hunger
b. don`t approach table desiring the foods that are not healthy for me
c. don`t say what I am doing unless asked as I don`t want it focused on me.

I did get to the gym this a/m and started at level 8 on the exercise bike. I lost momentum from the last time (2 months) that we have been.

45 minutes in all with playing racquetball.

Also...staying mindfully of being committed for the whole 100 days.

Day #1 went fairly easy...of course...because I am all "gung ho" right now.

Day #2...Committed or just interested?

I am COMMITTED

I WILL commit to myself to do this for 100 days...no ifs ands or buts

I WILL stick to this for a healthier "ME"

I WILL get to the gym TODAY

I know that wasn't easy, but you did it and you should be very proud of yourself.
You are off to a good start!

Today is day #1. Not yet over and was better at the movies than I was in the past. emoticon

I use to eat more popcorn ( a very unhealthy snack at the movies) But today I am different...husband and I shared a medium size bag of popcorn . Usually we "up size" it to a large for $1.50 and then get a free refill. Not today....we shared emoticon and I may have eaten 1/3 bag.
