Day 11 and 12 of 100 day challenge 9/3/414.

Are you getting adequate amounts of fuel? Or do you keep adding lots of filler to your tank? Filler usually harms your energy as well as your weight-loss efforts.

* I've learned the junk foods such as cookies are filler foods and healthy foods such as fruits is fuel. I normally eat mostly healthy foods. So that is a good news. But time to time I crave sweets such as cookies. So I'll replace more cookies for the healthy choice of fruits or veggie dip with hummus eat...

Today's assignment 8/28/14. 100 Days Challenge: Day 10 "Appreciate good support"

I have never ask anybody, my family or friends to compliment me about my looks or weight loss effort. But when people do compliment me, I now know how appreciate that is, and will remember to thank them and really appreciate they are giving me the compliments.

Today's assignment 8/27/14. Day 9 of 100 day challenge.

To get good support from others, you first have to determine what you want yourself. Then you can tell your "helpers" exactly what you need or want.

In the quiz below, pick out the answers that fit best for you. It's fine to choose several answers for each of the questions. If the suggested lines dont exactly work for you, come up with different ones that match your needs.

1. If you see me eating something thats not on my diet plan
***Ask me, Should you be eating that? *****
Ignore it entirely
Ask me if Ive had a bad day
Give me a hug

2. When Im making progress, such as losing weight
******Compliment me on how I look ******
Praise me in front of others
Never comment on my progress in front of others
Give me non-food gifts or rewards

3. When Im struggling or gaining weight
*******Tell me you notice and really care about my struggle ******
Ignore it entirely
Hug me and show me extra affection
Ask me how you can help

4. When Im making progress you cant see (such as improving my self-esteem)
Ask me how my efforts are going
***+++++Compliment me on how I look ++++=+
Ignore my efforts and my changes
Give me non-food gifts or rewards

5. When Ive maintained my weight (even though I may still want to lose more)
******Tell me you are proud of my current efforts ******
Ignore the subject entirely
Ask me if Im struggling or feeling discouraged
******+Compliment me on my looks and my effort*****

8/26/14. Today's Assignment day 8 of 100 days challenge

Do you get the support you need from family members or friends?

Set up agreements with your support people by saying, It will help me if followed by what you want them to do. Be sure you also let people know the things you DON'T want them to do or say.

I'll have to write it down the request .....for my DH. Starts with sentence followed by "It will help me, if... As of now, I had to think careful. Will come back to this later for this.

Day 5 of getting on truck and day five of 100 day. 8/23/14.

*Lessen learned from day five.

Temptation is always around. Instead of depending on others to help you be successful with your diet, make a commitment that you will protect your program at all costs!

One way to do this is to postpone eating and make people think you aren't ready for food yet. Anytime you feel pressured to eat something, sidestep the food pusher by using this magic phrase:

Not just yet... Im going to wait a little while.

You can repeat this phrase (or a slight variation of it) as many times as you need to. It gives you a gracious way to handle social situations and protect yourself from eating.

Today's lessen day #5 8/22/14.

Talking about create a magic note book or space some where to record/write down your cravings. The cravings, it does not act right now. And plan to have it in the future.

Today's lessen is so timely as I'm having some cravings. It's been 5 day for me on getting back on truck. I've been doing great so far, eating healthy, exercise everyday for last five day.
Today, My craving for sweets came back. But I'm committed to not have it right now. Maybe it's a with drew symptom from sugar addiction. I want to stay strong. I can't afford to give in right now. My cravings are, donuts, cookies, pastry from the bakery. But all are very high fat, sugar, and calorie. It's not worth it for my health. Thanks for the lesson. By writing down, reminds me that I can have it anytime if I want to. But I don't have to have it. I feel in power now. I do not needs those sweets! Maybe I'll have It someday in the future. Right now I don't know when.

Thanks you my love for your support!

Getting back on truck day 4 of 100 day challenge. 8/21/14.

Today s lessen seems like every one was talking about what is your Diet "the meal plan" and what is your narrow way and wider way. My meal plan is mostly ETL way "plant based whole foods." And I try not to have wider or narrow way. Eat three meal a day and no snacking. "Basically, Stop eating when satisfy. And eat when you hungry."

Day 4 so far so good. I'm still on my eating and exercise plan. Down 4 pounds. (Yay me! )

***Important note for today's lessen.**** 8/20/14

People who are interested in losing weight

1. Stick with it until something better comes along

2. Take action only if they feel like doing it

3. Need to see results in order to stay motivated

4. Blame people or circumstances for their struggles

5. Easily give up when they face challenges

People who are committed to losing weight

1. Stick with their plans no matter what

2. Take action whether they feel like doing it or not

3. Assume that if they stay motivated, results will follow

4. Take responsibility for their own actions

5. Keep going in spite of challenges and setbacks

**Today's assignment: Day 3 (8/20/14)

1. In your diet or exercise plan, identify a task you dont feel like doing, and then do it anyway! Record it here.

Limiting my lunch choices with my friend, and not eating dessert (carrot cake) just because she wants it.
Also, I dont feel like exercising, but I will DO IT ANYWAY!

2. Notice how it feels to accomplish a goal by taking a no matter what approach to it. Describe your reaction.

I plan to talk to my friend about my goals and ask for her support. I also choose to remain strong in my commitment even if she doesn't support me. Making that decision feels very empowering.

3. Make a list of several actions you plan to stick with today, regardless of how you feel at the moment.

*My answer for 1.2.3.

I love this "No matter what" approach. This morning, I felt still tired when I get up, almost didn't feel like going on my treadmill. But I stepped on it and walked 3 miles anyway. And after finished. I felt good. And when I packing my lunch, I didn't want to eat salad, instead i wanted to eat bagel , but I packed salad with home made healthy dressing anyway, no bagel. Then lunch time came, I ate my delish salad and I felt good knowing I'm doing good for my body. Day three for my coming back from setback and getting back on truck doing fantastic! Love to stick around with you all. Thanks.

100 day of weight loss challenge. Posting for 8/18/14.

Today is emoticon of my getting back on truck and day one of 100 day challenge.
I am not perfect, at this point I'm not sure if I can come here everyday to do assignment and daily report. But I'll try my best to do my "100 days of weight loss challenge"

Today's assignment: Day 1. 8/18/14

1. Make a list of any fears or negative behaviors that have hurt your weight-loss success in the past. Read each one out loud, and then say, I used to be that way, but now Im different.

My list:

* I used to be use foods as coping mechanism. Almost used like a drugs. My favorite drugs of choice was brownies, cookies, muffins any type of sweet pastry from bakery and crunchy snack like chips and cracker with cheese.

* I used to be so depressed and stay most of my day in my bed/room.

But Now, I "NO longer" eat when I'm sad or depressed or board. And I get up in the morning and use my treadmill walk at lest 3 mile a day and/or go to gym and join group exercise and hit the sauna.
