Great to hear you two are making good progress! I've been doing alright and have been slowly getting back into exercising again. I hope that my body will start recovering more quickly from my workouts so I can bump my classes up to twice a week soon. I mowed the lawn for the first time in my life yesterday and I am so sore today!! Oh and I've never actually done Krav Maga, but I've heard the classes are so intense! KO Fitness has been talking about starting up the classes and have had a couple of seminars, but I haven't heard anything in a while. I need to get in more shape before I could do it, but I'd love to get to that point!

Fortunately, my knees felt fine the very next day. Today I moved up to Level 2 of the 30 Day Shred. It wasn't as hard as I feared, though it was still more challenging than Level 1. So far, I've been managing to squeeze in a lot more cardio and just working out in general. I'm really seeing and feeling the effects too, a huge difference even from just 2 weeks ago. I'm liking it!

With your knee hurting I would recommend doing pool exercises. I've had 2 knee surgeries and my knee gets hurt easily. I sprained my knee 2 weeks ago and couldn't do my walking so my friends had me doing the pool (laps, lunges in water, crunches, etc) I was still able to lose weight and not hurt my knee. So I recommend that for anyone who ha an injured knee. Also the pool workouts can strengthen your knee to prevent further injury in the future.

A wedding! How exciting for you! emoticon Or as Jack Sparrow would say "I love weddings....drinks all around!" emoticon Nothing like losing weight to make you feel gorgeous on your special day.

So far, I've been doing really well with adding more cardio and just exercise in general. I've been doing either glider or elliptical 6x a week, a DVD workout 5-6x a week, and yoga every day. Today my knees are kind of hurting, but tomorrow is upper body focus and Friday is my easy day, so hopefully they'll be feeling better by the weekend. :)

Martial Arts was my life for five and a half years till I got badly injured. But I have never stopped loving it, I even still remember some of my forms. Theres a possibility I might try Krav Maga, awesome form of martial arts, I suggest youtubing it, you'll be amazed at what they can do...or I will just go back to kung fu.

So far I lost more weight and finally am getting even closer to my target weight for my mom to buy my wedding dress, cant wait till she sees me.

Martial arts are a blast! I did a little of that in college. I'd love to do more, but the $$ and time to go to a studio and all just isn't really something I can manage right now. It is a fantastic way to stay in shape!

So far, so good for this week! I've been hitting the cardio pretty steadily all week, with the Shred and Fat Blaster DVDs, plus elliptical and glider. Tomorrow is usually my easy day (yoga only). I may also squeeze in a short DVD workout (there are some 12 minute focused ones on the FB DVDs), as Sunday we are going to the in-laws and I won't have time to work out. I'll probably just do some yoga after we get back.

I can tell my endurance is improving, and I'm feeling much stronger in my legs too. :)

I love martial arts! I've never been in a program where you earn belts or anything but my step kids are and I love watching them and helping them. I have been taking kickboxing at KO Fitness (yes, sorry I'm mentioning them again, but I love this gym for just this reason!) as my main form of exercise. They focus on form, functionality and at the same time give you a great workout! I hope you can get into some martial arts Mayhua, there's nothing like having fun and then whatdoyaknow, you're losing weight too!

Okay, so I finally went to my class last night. It's been about a month. It was painful but felt good, and I've only gained one pound since last month! Yeah!

So I'm still working on getting organized this week, but I can now make my weight goal to lose 3 pounds. I know I can do this!

My goal is to lose 3 pounds this month and 3 inches. Also I would like to start back up in martial arts. That would help me lose weight! :-) I did martial arts for 5 1/2 years and I am dying to go back.

Thanks for sharing your goals! Be sure to come back and let us know how you've been progressing or if you need any help :) And SILENTPAWZ, it's funny, I hate lifting weights! I have a hard time getting started on the cardio but once I start, I love doing it!

My main goal is to get on a schedule again. Since I've been out of work I've been adjusting to a new schedule and I need to get back on a workout schedule. I don't have a working scale at home and since I haven't been to the gym I don't know what my weight is either. Probably not great. So that's my first step and I'll check back in when I have a better idea.

I'm trying to add more cardio into my exercise routine. I've been doing the 30 Day Shred 3x a week for the last week, and today I added Barry's Bootcamp. I'm trying to keep mixing things up so I keep doing an intense workout without getting bored or burned out. Time is an issue, so I love the 20 minute workouts these DVDs offer.

I *really* hate cardio. I'd much rather do strength training as I love lifting weights. I just hate being out of breath and dripping with sweat, even though I know it's good for me. :p

So yeah, my August goal is to add more cardio. :)

My goal is to lose 8 pounds this month!

My own business always bores me to death; I prefer other people's.

I'm in shape. Round is a shape.
